This absolutely works for cats, my poor cats had such itchy skin due to flea bites and couldn't stop scratching, til they had sores on skin, but once i put on and rubbed in down to skin only took minutes for them to feel relief, I use on my 2 cats twice week and stopped the itching and healed irrated skin, my cats are happy now , i highly recommend has pleasant smell not over powering for cats, I was not able to spray directly on my cats as they don't like the spraying, but put on my hand and rubbed into fur down to skin, and groomed with comb to help get down to skin, if this had not worked was going to vet for a prescription cream or spray, but it worked, 100 percent, also their fur is now shiny and and not dry, very smooth and healthy, this is a must get

It WORKS! It WORKS ! I can’t believe it! I have tried what feels like everything and had minimal results. My 130 lb XL Bull Dog has allergies and sensitive itchy dry skin patches. He cry’s when he’s scratching, so this product was my last effort before spending extra money to see the vet. I sprayed this where he scratches and instantly he stops . For the most part It lasts for about 5 hours before he starts to get itchy again, .I can tell he feels instant relief because he sits there and allows me to spray him . When you spray it comes out of the nozzle with pressure, so it’s not getting everywhere and it gets directly where you want it. Not sticky and has a pleasant smell. 5 stars across the board from me. I will be purchasing again !

I purchased this Hot Spot & Itch Relief Medicated Spray by Veterinary Formula Clinical Care to help relieve the redness and itching on my 12-year-old poodle's back leg. He had gone to the groomers and came back with fleas. The fleas were not visualized until afther a few days of itching and licking, and then I bathed him with a Veterinary Formula anti-itch shampoo with Lidocaine in it and put on a flea treatment (Advantage II). He continued to scratch and lick despite no visualization of fleas. I made an appointment with the vet who put him on a 2-week allergy pill (anti-itch) and a RX of a combo flea, tick and heartworm pill. This spray was used both after bathing and when my dog started actively scratching. I would spray it on and rub it in, then wait for the spray to dry to limit the dog's ability to get to the wet, active medication. It did seem to soothe the area for a short time. The scent was pleasant. The moisturizing spray had a slightly oily consistency. It did not discolor my dog's white fur. While this didn't cure the hot spots created by a flea allergy (according to my vet that was the cause of the redness and itching) it did temporarily soothe the spots in combination with a soothing bath. I would urge anyone trying to take care of hot spots on their pet to contact their vet to find the underlying cause of the itching and redness, if possible.

This worked really well for my dog. He had a hot spot that was bothering him, and after using this spray as directed, it was gone within about a week. The spray was easy to apply, and I liked that I could treat the area without making a huge mess. My dog also seemed much more comfortable as the week went on. I was very happy with the results and would definitely keep this on hand for future skin irritation or hot spots.
