Vallejo never disappoints with the Vallejo Metal Color - the application is always perfectly smooth and somehow, for how runny it is, the coverage rarely ever needs a second coat. You can use this with no thinner through airbrush or apply it via brush and both look spectacular. well worth the extra dollars.

Have purchased all sorts of paint through the years. By far the best paint I have used as a brand based on quality, price, and packaging is Vallejo. Their paints are amazing just like everyone says but what is important to me is shipping. I have ordered directly with other brands and every single time spilled and wasted paint. Never once have I had wasted or spilled paint with Vallejo. They will forever be my “go-to” paint for miniatures.

Plain and simple, looking for a good metallic paint for a bargain price to volume ratio? Can’t go wrong with Vallejo’s model metallic paints. The color is “copper” and it has great coverage. Always remember to going with thin layers, it’s easier to build up rather than build down from a thick layer of metallic paint. Also if you’re rinsing off metallic paints, make sure you empty your rinse cup to avoid metal flakes mixing with your non-metallic paints.

This and all the other silver variants are a must have for miniature painting. If you don’t own it, try it. You will never go back

Great color. Reflective but not quite a mirror finish without a LOT of work. Excellent to use with airbrush over flat black primer for a deeper finish, and over gray primer for a little brighter look. Black gives it much more of that chrome look, while gray primer makes the finish more like a silver plate. Attached 3D printed Mandalorian pilot photo shows pauldrons, chest plate, and greaves brush painted with the Vallejo Chrome paint over gray primer. Helmet is painted with Krylon Chrome paint for chrome fixtures for comparison.

Try to match the real color from the original

This went so smooth it looked great on the model. It was so easy to airbrush on with a .35 needle. I tested to see how smooth it was. I did not thin it out as I airbrushed it on. It went on with zero issues. Dries quickly and took shading with no issues. Also it didn’t take very much to get full coverage.
