Fixed Pipe Gap
At almost 7” long this 1 1/2” coupling solved a 2” gap between drain pipes. The standard coupling bought locally kept coming off one pipe or the other. And, it fit perfectly. I have two other drain pipe connections I will fix with this product. Once installed and tightened it sealed around the pipes with no leaks. The thick walls of the coupling should make it last a long time. I’m extremely happy with this product.

Used to repair a sump pump
Needed to install new check valves on a sump pump system. Used this to connect two pipes together. Has been working fine for much of the year. No leaks. Good quality.

Great length.
I used this under a garage sink when the new self-contained sump unit wouldn't quite align with the old plumbing. I left a couple of inches of the offset open and this made a smooth transition. Saved me a bunch of under sink fiddling with fittings. Also made the sump unit easy to access if needed.

Saved me thousands
This saved me thousands. My plumber had the standard 4” Fernco and I need 5” and he told me they don’t make longer ones and I’d have to break up the concrete floor from above and replace all the pipes. I found this and installed it myself in the ceiling of the 1st floor for the second floor sink drain.

Used for a 3 inch gap between pipes for sump pump drainage.
I bought this to replace a connector I got at Lowe’s, but I guess it was either not a snug fit or I didn’t put enough cement to keep the pipes from leaking - so there was a noticeable leak. I found this and after having used a similar rubber pipe with metal adjustable clamps in the check control valve from PumpSpy, I figured it was a safe bet and I’ve tested the sump pump 4x since installing it and zero leaks. The extension worked perfectly!
