HOMCOM Media Cabinet 4-Tier Stereo Cabinet with Glass Door Black

This cabinet is the perfect blend of capacity, quality, and price. Ease of assembly is the icing on the cake. This is exactly what I was hoping to find to protect my stereo from furry invaders.The amazon listing says this is freestanding, I'm not sure that's correct since the unit is "supposed" to be attached to a wall. That is not necessary for my use, so I skipped that.Very quick assembly. Instructions were easy to follow. Extra screws and pegs were provided. Drilling is required, but not difficult at all. The glass is well packaged, nestled between wood members, in a separate box within the overall box. The fasteners are quarter turn for the main members, while the rear thin wood is fastened with drill holes and screws. The pegs are loose fitting, seemingly by design.The wood is very sturdy and nicely finished. The top and bottom shelves rest on pegs and are height adjustable. The middle shelf (non-adjustable) is held with fasteners and pegs. The glass doors function flawlessly. The magnet which holds the doors pops in and out with a press.

Sturdy and looks nice once assembled. Instructions weren't overly clear in places, but we managed to figure it out. Assembly was a relatively slow tedious process. Lots of component pieces and lots of screws. Two people are pretty much required, and a third pair of hands would have come in handy here and there. Assembly quibbles aside, it looks and works as advertised, and seems to be a good value.

Wanted something that will help reduce dust accumulation for my video game consoles and this was it! Overall great cabinet, easy to install, added 120mm PC Fans on a variable controller as exhaust fans for the consoles and also mesh grilling on the back to cover the back opening. 4 stars for wishing it was just a tad bit Sturdier.

A very nice well-priced and well-designed stereo console, just what I was looking for. Not as easy to assemble as I had hoped, mostly because the twist-lock connectors were not as solid or precise as I had expected. (I have assembled other twist-lock furniture.) But the final product was surprisingly solid. Fortunately, all the “wood”sections and hardware were well-marked and mostly predrilled, which helped overcome the instructions, which showed confusing illustrations but no written descriptions. One section, however - the rear panel - used about a dozen small, self-tapping screws that were a BEAR to install and which easily stripped in the flake board. I overcame this by purchasing one size larger wooden screws. Final result: Very pretty and the glass doors fit well. Happy with the console, but I couldn’t believe how much time and effort to build.

The cabinet is nice, but it is a lot of work to put together. I’m an experienced builder and it was a chore—even for me. Also, the instructions are poorly translated to English from Chinese. They should add some important information to several of the steps. Pay attention to how you put the middle shelf in or the glass panes will not fit in front. They don’t bother to explain that the middle shelf HAS to be facing a certain way and it can fit one of two ways. Only one way is correct—the eay that leaves no gap in back.

It looks really nice, but we shipped with incorrect hardware for one of the panels. I’ll never get it packed back in the box, so returning is not an option. It seems to be a quality product, but I just can’t use it. Another hundred dollars down the drain.

If you’re looking for a reasonable-priced medium-sized nice-looking cabinet for your audio components this is it! The wood material is solid, black paint surface smooth and consistent and the cabinet looks great once assembled. Instructions were good for the most part but ambiguous a few times (e.g., direction/front to back of shelves could be confusing—the correct orientation not becoming clear until the assembly is almost completed, requiring a novice like me to take the unit apart to correct the error). But after a couple of days, the upper metal hinge on one of the glass doors came apart (it was made of 2 parts—a post and a clamp—that fitted together but didn’t seem to be properly soldered or welded at all.) when I opened the door. Fortunately I caught the door when it fell so it didn’t break. I called the manufacturer (as indicated on the item’s page on Amazon), described and send pictures of the part, and a very helpful representative (Diego) told me I would receive a replacement part in 2 weeks. After 5 weeks and still no part, I emailed the company and the same rep wrote back within an hour apologizing for the delay, telling me that the part was on back order, but instead of making me wait another few weeks, he was sending me the complete unit which would include the broken part! He said I don’t have to return the replacement items and can use it or give it away, a very generous response! I had a use for a second cabinet (leaving off the glass doors) so this arrangements worked well for me and I am satisfied with the outcome due to responsive customer service!.

This item arrived quickly in secure packaging. I had worries that the glass doors may be damaged, but everything was packed tight and secure.The contents were in perfect shape with no scuffs on the cabinetry. All of the parts were included with no missing parts. They even included one extra screw for each type of screws needed.The instructions were step by step in picture format. Just look at them closely and you should have no issues. All i needed was a Phillips screwdriver for the assembly. It took me about an hour for assembly.The assembled unit is sturdy and will last for as long as I will ever need it. The weight of the item was light enough for me to move / assign my own. I chose the black finish and it looks nice in my living room.The inside dimensions were perfect to hold my PS4 along with its controller charging unit. It also was able to hold my PS5 along with its controller charging unit plus an external hard drive. There is also some extra space to hold some of my favorite games.This is definitely a great buy! Don’t hesitate to purchase!

Excelente mueble, muy facil de armar, nor falto ninguna pieza, muy bien empaquetado, las pertas de cristal templado le dan una gran vista, como eran los modulares de los 80's y 90's, voy a comprar otro para mi habitación.

Deben saber que el producto en si es lo que necesitaba, el costo calidad es bueno, pero EL ARMADO ES LABORIOSO y COMO MENCIONAN EN OTRAS OPINIONES ME TOCO QUE LLEGARA DAÑADO/ROTO DE UNA DE LOS LADOS, NO LO DEVOLVI PQ LO NECESITABA, ESPERO AGUANTE POR LO MENOS UN AÑO.
