I recently purchased the CRB Advanced Hand Wrapper System on Amazon, and it’s been a total game-changer for my rod building setup. From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell this was a step up from basic hand wrapping jigs. The build quality is excellent—solid materials, precise components, and thoughtful design all around.The dual tension system is a standout feature. It allows for consistent tension throughout the wrap, which has significantly improved the quality and appearance of my thread work. The adjustable thread carriage is smooth and stays in place, making it super easy to position and wrap guides exactly where I want them.I also really appreciate the extended base with multiple support stands—it gives me more control and helps keep everything aligned, especially when working on longer rods. The magnetic thread tensioner is another nice touch—it makes switching threads quicker and more convenient.Whether you’re a hobbyist or doing rods professionally, this system is well worth the investment. Excellent value for the money. A Good product. Performs as advertised. The company needs to be more explicit for all the miscellaneous parts that come with the product. Otherwise, it does what it is supposed to do.

Just good thread for putting eyes on your fishing poles and recovering furniture.

I really is simple to use and easy to set up, I am not sure I like the gluing the tension rod into the system but it does not impact the use. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

I just finished wrapping a new fly rod and the CRB advanced wrapper made it so much easier than my first fly rod. My previous rod wraps were trolling or boat rods with fairly large diameter blanks. Starting a wrap and finishing one off is fairly easy, and the tension easy to control using the "thread between a book" method. I find the small diameter blanks of a fly rod much more challenging. The constant tension, easily adjusted thread position while winding, and the clamping pressure of the bungy rings on the blank in the stand to hold the work hands free, made it all so much easier. I'm looking forward to trying some intricate decorating wraps on a boat rod next.

If you have fished all of your life like I have you will have rods that are well used and in need of repair. GOOD REPAIR. This is the machine for you. Top quality and workmanship!!! I am so happy to finally have a wrap table system that works like a dream. Should have purchased years ago!! Good engineering lasts for decades!!!
