how large of o space will it do

I have a very large kitchen and foyer. I just dust mop the entire floor and then move it all towards the Eye-Vac. The motion detector sucks up all the "stuff". I have 2 kids and a shedding dog. Every two or three weeks I empty the cylinder out. LOVE IT!!!!! So easy.

I noticed they have a package to get this and 2 filters. Do the filters not come with it?

I did not see the package with two filters but the unit comes with filters which are also cleanable so you do not need to buy more unless you want extras. I bought extras because I wanted spares in case something freaky happens I won't have to wait to continue using the unit. I haven't had any problems with it and the wife still loves it. Hope this answers your question if not just post any you have.

Can someone tell me how long the cord is to plug it in? The spot where I want to keep this is not very close to an outlet.

Mine is six feet and the cord is a pretty heavy duty cord, i wouldn't be afraid to use a drop cord as long as it has the safety prong all so. And you can also use a power strip that will trip if something goes wrong. I don't worry to much i don't leave mine on all the time. You can leave it on all the time or turn it on just while your using it.

Absolutely love this. It picks up the smallest amount of dust. So much better then a regular vacuum. I have no carpets in my house, for some reason I like sweeping more than a vacuum. This makes things perfect for my OCD's
