Works Perfectly, Love Zero Fillers!
I purchased this because I need to reduce my estrogen load, and I'm tired of all the fillers and stearates found in so many other DIM vendors' products. I even wound up with chronic inflammation from another vendor because they put rice powder in as a filler, and I'm allergic to rice. I'm careful now to get only clean, no-fillers, no-stearate products. But loose powder? I had no better choice, so I had to decide to give it a try. To get the correct dosage, I put the powder in capsules using a small spatula: (both from Amazon) - the spatula (micro scoop) - [...] - the capsules - [...] It's not as hard as I thought it would be to make the capsules. I emptied the contents of the package into a small glass jar, make a few DIM Capsules each day as a ritual while I eat my breakfast, so I always have more than I need, and store the jar in a cabinet with a leftover anti-moisture gel pack in it to keep the powder dry. But does this DIM work? I've been using this DIM a while now and -- I love it. I take one capsule when I wake, and one before I go to bed, and it controls my estrogen-related issues just as well as any other product I've taken. No fillers = no inflammation. Will definitely repurchase when I run out. Highly recommended!

Honestly, far from perfect, but I still give it a 5-star rating in spite of that.
I'm leaving a review after having bought this product, and in return for a free product sample (of 100 grams or capsules..wow..) that Bulksupplements offers to first-time buyers, and also for those of you just curious about what to expect with this purchase. About the product itself: • This comes from China, but apparently the supplier is good and this company has a good reputation (although like anyone I’d still feel more comfortable knowing exactly who the supplier is). • This smells strongly and like petroleum (rubbery plastic + gasoline, to me), but apparently this is diindolylmethane’s natural odor. • The packaging is atrocious; the zip lock does not work and you must work the powder down into the containment part of the package before you open it with scissors. You may want to wrap this package inside a plastic bag or safely transfer the powder into something else. • You need your own measuring spoon, because none is included (fortunately I happened to have one lying around). • The powder is extremely fine, like ice tea mix some will float out. This stuff also does not want to mix with water; I’m not actually sure if it can (since I’m taking a number of nasty supplements anyway, I just pour a measured amount onto a teaspoon, then take that tsp and chase it with water). Taking this with moist food would probably be ideal, but using either capsules or water like I do works fine, for me at least. - So, are all of these issues worth it? Well in my opinion, assuming the product is safe (and I actually do feel safe taking my chances with them), I say: Yes. They give you both bulk and the value over every other brand's bottled capsules, even if nothing more than that, so personally I'm not about to complain. I got what I needed, in great quantity and at a price I'm satisfied with. Also, I have been taking rather large doses of this, for awhile now, and I haven't noticed any adverse effects yet, so I'm thinking it's safe to say this product isn't what the odor and the country of origin would have me believe it is. And lastly, if this is your first order, you'll get a free sample of another product that you have not ordered or sampled before, which is pretty neat. I think my purchase of this was in the area of $42.00, which itself was already a great value for the amount, but then I got the same amount of another supplement for free after buying this. That concludes my review of Bulksupplements’ DIM. A little information about DIM, for the heck of it: • If you are looking for DIM, for the specific purpose of its effects on sex hormones (metabolizing E to raise T), keep in mind that for some it may actually do the exact opposite, and for some it may have little if any effect. I don't remember where I read that, but if it's true then it's something to be aware of. • Apparently, black pepper extract, vitamin C, and vitamin E are needed to enhance the bioavailability of DIM. (I am taking SmokyNaturals DIM which already offers this, because I had already ordered and opened it. But I wanted to increase my DIM intake, out of necessity and at my own risk, so I ordered this from Bulksupplements. If you want to enhance the bioavailability with more C&E than you would get from diet, you might as well find more supplements or do what I'm doing, although you will probably not need to use as much of this, if the latter. Bulksupplements suggests up to 200mg twice daily, and the other brand is 250mg/capsule itself [offering 60mg/100% DV Vitamin C and 50IU/167% DV Vitamin E already so you can only take 1], and obviously with straight powder you can control precisely how much you're getting. I personally take an undisclosed amount of DIM more than suggested, again, at my own risk. I noticed that another reviewer claimed he was taking 600mg daily, and I found a product offering 1000mg/1g recently, so I can't tell you how much is ideal or too much. You may need a doctor to know that, or take what you will at your own risk.) I hope this review helps your purchase decision.

DIM powder - great alternative to swallowing capsules
This was a great product to try because you don't have to swallow a capsule, taste is not bad - so easy to take for someone who doesn't want any added ingredients and doesn't want to swallow pills. Unfortunately, both myself and my child did not react well to it, even in a microdose, but we are VERY sensitive people. I may try it again at a future point.

Seems to be effective
Seems to be working well for hormone imbalance? Haven't had labs drawn yet but I see noticeable changes since using. Mix with a bit of olive oil and take with spoon.

I was going to give it more time but it's already helping and want to share that.
I bought this to replace another brand and am so happy I made the switch to the pure powder. I mix it into a small serving of apple sauce and have no problems with that. I use the apple sauce after noticing it didn't dissolve well in water or juice. The taste isn't the best if taken alone but I don't even notice it in the apple sauce. DIM is a part of my battle plan against some health issues including adult-lifetime of endometriosis, terrible cramps, and now fibroids. I keep my packet in the fridge with a small measuring spoon in it. Because I take multiple supplements, many of which I've been replacing with pure powders, I bought a couple inexpensive small measure spoon sets and keep the appropriate sized spoons right in the supplement pouches to streamline things. I like that I don't have to keep track of which supplement required which amount since the correct sized spoon is already in each container. I highly recommend doing this if you are going to start using powdered supplements. It's well worth the cost even if you end up with leftover unused spoon sizes from the sets in order to have enough of the sizes you need. So, admittedly, I am not taking this alone but I can say that I'm noticing some good results in my body and DIM is a major player in my routine (which includes teas and supplements aimed at fighting fibroids and achieving healthy cycles). I started my routine a few weeks ago with the promise to myself that I would follow it for 6 months without fail before even considering giving up. I assumed it would be months before I'd notice improvements so didn't want to set myself up to lose hope and quit too soon. I did not expect to notice improvements already. I'm really happy at the things I'm noticing. I'm having less pain, I don't feel as much pressure. That's why I'm writing this review now, if anyone is wondering whether to begin DIM or add it to their battle plan against estrogen dominant issues, I'd say begin asap! It's seriously improving the quality of my life. FYI, the personal routine I've put together for MY fight against fibroids and related issues is as follows: fibro defense capsules iodoral (Iodine tablets) organic unsulphured blackstrap molasses ascorbic acid magnesium selenium DIM fibroid tea apple cider vinegar healthy cycle tea pau d'Arco tea nettle tea castor oil pack to lower abdomen natural (bioidentical) progesterone cream A few of these are from BulkSupplements and I take a couple more of their products for other things which I did not include above. I'm pretty sold on pure forms of supplements rather than deal with fillers and any kind of extra ingredients for binding or whatever. I can't wait to come back to update with my progress in another 5 months or so which is when I originally was going to assess the value of this routine in my battle for better health.

Tastes awful and does not mix with water
I have no way of knowing if this product does what it claims because it tastes awful and will not mix with fluids no matter how fast you stir. Also, it recommends 200mg per day but there is no other measurement offered such as teaspoons, so you have to have a food scale that goes below ounces in order to know if you are getting the right does. Even when I used a scale, the powder won't mix, so half of it is left in the cup no matter how many times I try to add water.

Only form of DIM I can tolerate
The only way I can take DIM. Every DIM product I have taken has made me nauseated except this one. It doesn’t dissolve the best and the smell isn’t amazing but the dose is so small. I legit put it straight into my mouth then drink it down with any flavored drink. For me it’s usually coffee in the morning and I don’t taste it at all. This form is quality and an absolute breeze.

Check the ssientific studies
Maybe I took too much; my urine was bright ( I mean day-glow) pink). I'm a 69-year-old woman. I bought it because of scientific studies showing reduction in estrogen-sensitive cancers in women. It smells like plastic, but with a bit of milk, that goes away. It's so fine a powder that it floats in the air, resulting in lose of product when opening and closing the bag. As others have remarked, the bag doesn't close correctly. Just be aware of this, especially the first time you open it. Product accumulated at the top, above were it should close, so that it spills out and in the air the first time it's opened. I haven't been taking it long enough to notice any changes. Since my primary reason for taking is prevention, and I'd have to take it for many years , I may never. I'll try this, but don't think it' reasonable to take for the rest of my life. Unlike others, I don't have female problems.
