I was installing an ignition lock on an e-bike but did not want to cut and splice the factory cables, so I purchased this instead and it worked great.

I added a basket to my ebike, but that wasn't going to work with the wired headlight mounted where the basket was destined. I figured I'd have to splice some wires to extend the mounting options... or give up the wired headlight and go with a handlebar-mounted one. I was so pleasantly surprised to find out that I could simply purchase a Julet extension cable, snap it in, and mount the light wherever I wanted. This cable was exactly what I needed. It allowed me to mount the light to the front of my basket. The cable was a little long (I would suggest that over a little short!) so I just looped it and zip-tied it under the basket. The cable feels legitimate and of good quality. Works perfectly. I'd definitely buy this one again.

I was a little nervous purchasing an extension cord like this off of Amazon. It works great. It's a lot longer than what I needed but that is hardly the wire's fault. I highly recommend it

I've used this extension for 6 months without a problem. Good quality cable and easy to install through the bike rack for my bike.
