Excellent flavor.
For those that say it's lacking in flavor then you're not using it correctly.1) Apply a heavy coating of seasoning to top bottom and sides.2) Put in Ziplock bag and set in refrigerator for 2 to 3 days, let the seasoning penetrate your meat3) remove meat from refrigerator 1 hour prior to cooking to get up to room temperature.4) Cook in your desired method, I use a Sous vide to cook it to 130 degrees then sear it off in a hot cast iron griddle.Hope these tips help out.

Tastes like the real deal
I grew up in southern California eating great Mexican food all the time, in my 20s I moved to the east coast and good carne asada tacos are harder to come by. I tried a bunch of recipes I found online and made some pretty good tacos, they were never exactly right. Then one day I got lucky and stumbled into this stuff. This is the flavor I was looking for.

Great street taco seasoning
I originally bought this from Safeway but they stopped carrying it. This is our go to when seasoning flank or skirt steak for street tacos. Apply a liberal amount to both sides place in a gallon Ziploc bag and add a couple tbs of lime juice and some chopped cilantro, let marinade for a few hours and then grill to desired doneness.

Salty but great!
Don't put additional salt or salt-mixes, like garlic salt, until you've tasted it. But also, this is EXCELLENT as a marinade because of the salt! It's the flavor I was looking for, but this is borderline a "seasoning salt". Maybe it needs to be shaken up, but it's not possible without getting an empty bottle. Anyway, it definitely brings the salt. If you buy those cheap "taco seasoning" packets and follow the directions (mix with 1lb ground meat, add 4oz water), it has that level of salt. Either tone it down or prepare to add in some raw potatoes to fix the dish. Some people find it too salty, some people like it.Besides the salt commentary: I'm one of those that simply believes everything needs more garlic, this Carne Asada mix being no exception. Hope this somehow helps others!

Such an amazing seasoning - versatile and tasty
One of my favorite weapons in my seasoning arsenal. Can't do without it. Goes well on all sorts of meats, but also a lot of vegetables too. One of my favorite odd uses for it is on popcorn! Wow - you don't need much and use it instead of regular salt. Adds a great flavor!

Absolutely the best flavor! Make a marinade with this seasoning by taking a handful of cilantro cut up. Half an onion. A garlic clove crushed, a capful of red wine vinegar, a little olive oil along with a half a cup of seasoning. Mix in bowl with about 3 to 4 lbs of skirt steak and enough water to cover the meat. Refrigerate for about 3 hrs. And grill. DELICIOUS!

Seal came broken and no return policy. Smh
1 star because there’s no return policy and this is the first product I received in my life with a broken seal. There was powder on the outside of the bottle. 👎🏼
