Fantastic baked beans with a full ingredient listing - perfect for me
I have a number of food allergies and it has been almost impossible to find a canned baked bean product that I can eat. Either the label expressly mentions something that I am allergic to to the ingredients are too nebulous for me to determine exactly what is in the can. I can (and do) make my own but sometimes it is really nice to be able to just grab something out of the pantry to help round out a meal. I have found Amy's products to be one of the best in listing full ingredients. If it isn't clear from the can, I can check their website. If that isn't clear, they are great at responding to queries about their products. That makes a world of difference to those of us who have food allergy issues. The vegetarian baked beans are delicious. I was thrilled to find them at my local Whole Foods but am even more happy to find them in bulk purchase here on Amazon. My local store only carries a couple of cans at a time and I hate to take them all considering there may be others who need this brand, too. I can order a dozen in good conscious here and have them ready for the summer months to add to my picnic menus. With Memorial Day coming up and a pool party and barbeque that my daughter puts on every year, this year I will be bring baked beans (these spruced up a bit with a few more ingredients such as liquid smoke, chopped sauteed onions, and brown sugar) as well as some baked barbeque chicken with quinoa pilaf. The beans are great as is but for a party, I will spend five extra minutes and take them over the top. Update:5/27/15 My case did arrive with 5 dented cans. Interesting, too, as the outer box was pristine. I can only assume that the cans shifted inside the box and dented one another. I used the dented cans first, making sure that they opened with the sound of vacuum. If they hadn't, I would have tossed them. There was no problem and I used the beans to make for our Memorial Day party. I think it is a packaging issue that should be able to be resolved by putting a stronger wrap around the case - probably by the manufacturer rather than Amazon as it is shifting inside their packaging.

Well, dang B these things taste really good
This has a wonderful taste and I highly recommend getting them. My only problem is I just went on a low-carb diet and itโs hard just to eat half a pan cause they taste so darn good.

Very good, but the price has grown out of control.
Very good, but the price is now out of control. I previously paid $39 for 12 cans, but now the price is $55. Insanity.

Vegan Organic Kosher Choice
Vegan. Organic. Kosher. High quality. Great side or with rice or on crackers or with chips, or "on toast" as our friends across the pond love 'em. Nice tomato sauce with hint of onion. The touch of sweetness is also just right. Another vegan wonder from Amy's kitchen! 420 kcal and 21g protein per can. Ingredients label explicitly states "(Vegan)" even though product name only states "Vegetarian." This review is out there for those for whom this makes a difference. See all of my reviews for more great choices. Check out "Vegan Grocery Favorites" and "Vegan Grocery Top Ten" in Listmania. Your "helpful" votes count and will be greatly appreciated to benefit the search of others. Thank you.

Not for sensitive stomach
The flavor is good but the product gave me extreme upset stomach pain issues for days and diarrhea. So if you have sensitive stomach be cautious

Tasty, high-quality
I like that the ingredients do not include hydrogenated oil or high-fructose corn syrup. I like the taste but think it would do just as well with less sugar. I donโt like that a few cans were dented. It should have been packaged better.

... about trying organic vegetarian baked beans as I do enjoy baked beans and especially baked beans "doctored" up the ...
Was a little wary about trying organic vegetarian baked beans as I do enjoy baked beans and especially baked beans "doctored" up the way my mom always made them when I was a kid. ( Can of just baked beans, add brown sugar - I just dump some in - probably about 2-3 tablespoons and a squirt or two of mustard and mix it in and cook like normal) Well, these beans proved to be just as good and yes using organic sugar and mustard I "doctored" them and there was not a bean left after dinner!
