Seems to work better than the courser woven gasket that I used before.I t might also work better because I used the J+B high temperature gasket maker/ sealant (red) instead of the adhesive normally used.

Just got around to installing this gasket and the glue came off with the paper. It was stuck very hard to the paper and was pulled away from the gasket every few inches. It's not useless as I didn't really want the self sticking kind anyway.
