I really don't care, I'm not worried about the safety break away part, worried about losing my keys. If I carry the remote in my pants pocket, it keeps pressing on the buttons. And on a Toyota remote, you know if you press against the case too hard, you ruin the remote. So, I put a hard shell on the outside, and carry these around my neck. Had been putting in the space between buttons on my polo with a clip, but it kept falling off. This is PERFECT for keys.

My boyfriend really likes the break away lanyards, however he pulls them off too much so they break super fast. With these ones he doesn’t have that option due to the break away block. The rope is durable and the clip holds nice. He’s been using the lanyard for months and there’s no snags even though he throws his keys anywhere.
