Works like a nail file
Im not using on acrylic/fake nails so I can’t comment for them - but works exactly as expected on natural toe and finger nails

Far too coarse for natural nails. I didn't know the grit rating, now that I do, might be better for smoothing edges of ply wood, or other carpentry applications.
