The scent is composed of organic essential oils. The scent is not overwhelming but has notes of tea tree, cedar, and orange.

Is this sulfate free?

According to the ingredients yes it is sulfate free I love this product I have curly hair and it calms it right down!

How does this product compare to the bumble and bumble surf spray?

I’ve never tried bumble and bumble surf spray, but this one does have some kind of an underlying odor that I don’t like very much. I have tried “not your mamas” sea salt spray and I like that one better, but this one appeared more natural to me. I still use it occasionally, but I can still smell Something on my hair all day long that bothers me a little bit. And As for how it works ... I don’t notice a big difference from any other kind of hairspray
