I have loved ties since I was in my pre-teens and went to a private school with a uniformed dress code. Not liking the bow that most girls wore, I exercised my option to go for the tie normally worn by the boys instead and it was my first exposure to a real tie. Have since loved real ties and over the years have learned multiple different knots to tie them in. Had never messed with bow ties, but was putting together a costume for a performance that required a bow tie that went well with purple, but I wanted something with a bit of a playful pattern and not one that would blend in too well for with the monotone purples of the rest of the outfit. With my love of real ties, I decided I should get a real bow tie as well. After a lot of looking through options on Amazon, I settle on this tie because it had one of my favorite patterns at the best price I could find. It has since become a semi-regular accessory for my more flashy outfits and can't really find any complaints about it. The colors are good, the texture comfortable, even when worn directly on skin, which is how I usually wear it as I often do a shirtless three piece suit look. About the only thing I'd change if I could about it is having it in silk instead polyester and would be willing to pay the higher price that would likely entail.

This bow tie was a hit! I bought it thinking it was for kids and already tied, no, it was an adult tie! But I adjusted it to fit my sons neck, it was perfectly fine. I learned to tie it for his event and he got so many compliments. Pattern was beautiful, and fit was perfect. Would definetly recommend!

Great quality red and grey hounds-tooth patterned bow tie! Looks great. While it is recommended that the pocket square should not match the tie/bow exactly, the pocket square provided along with the bow tie can be used with any other tie.
