Easy DIY phone fix!
My headphone jack got stuck in my phone. Took it to a phone repair place and they recommended this tool for me. They said they dont carry it in the store because it's just a one-time use tool so it's not affordable for them to keep on hand. He told me it was super easy to use though. I was skeptical but took his advice and was very pleased with the results. It was easy to use and I was able to get the broken piece out of my phone. Picture shows the part of the earbuds that broke off.

Didn’t work for me
Headphone jack broke inside my iPad’s port. I harbored hope that there was a way to shimmy either the short or long tubes into the headphone port. Don’t believe the video. Pushing the tube against a book isn’t enough. I tried to lightly hammer the short tube in with the handle of a screwdriver. The edges on both ends of the short tube ended up warping. So, second and last chance with the longer tube. I was met with enough resistance that I literally took a hammer to the tube. I’d say the pressure I tried to apply was heavier than tapping, but way lighter than driving nails in. Any harder, I think I feel like I would’ve damaged my iPad. The tube eventually felt jammed in enough, and I then used pliers to pull it out. Sadly, plug was still stuck. Turns out that the tube wasn’t deep enough and the tube was crushed. So, I’m $10 down with a problem to still fix, and the port on my iPad looks a little beaten up.I like DIY projects and knew I was gambling on something that looked too easy. Maybe you all can learn from my experience and save your money for more expert repair.

Yes, It WORKED!
The entire tip of my headphones jack broke off inside my phone. I tried many different suggestions for DIY removal of the jack, but nothing I tried could remove the stuck jackKnowing this tool may not work, I decided to buy it & give it a shot anyway seeing that some reviewers had been successful. I also bought a small hammer after reading other reviewers say a small hammer has just enough weight to push the tube in deep enough without destroying it.I tried gently hammering in the short tube first & couldn't seem to get a good grip to squeeze the tube enough to grab onto the jack to pull it out. I tried inserting it several times before finally deciding to use small pliers to get a better grip to pull it out. Bad idea, I ended up crushing the top portion of the tube & had a very difficult time removing it, even with the pliers! When I finally did manage to yank the tube out, it came out empty, the jack was still stuck inside my phone.I moved onto using the long tube, again gently hammering it in. Determined to use my fingers to pull so I wouldn't crush the second tube, I repeated hammering, twisting, & pulling the tube with my fingers several times. Finally, a small piece of the jack broke off inside the tube & I pulled it out.I repeated this process a few more times & was able to pull out a second larger piece of the jack. There was still a large piece of the jack wedged inside & I tried several more times to remove it without success. If you look at the attached picture, the largest piece of the jack with the skinny top is what was left inside. I managed to pull it up slightly, & at this point I tried using tweezers to pull it all the way out. It took a few tries, but eventually I was able to get a good grip with the tweezers & out came the last larger piece of the jack!Patience, repetition, gentleness, & ingenuity are definitely required to make this tool work, but it DOES WORK!

Works like a charm
WORKS!! After hours of trying to fish the damn thing out with tweezers, straightened paper clips and clay (!) finally did a quick search and came across this product. Fished it out half as fast as writing this review. It’s not as easy as inserting this little piece and pulling the plug out. It requires a bit of finesse to angle the tool back to apply some friction as you pull out. But it’s pretty intuitive.Best 8 bucks I’ve spent all year so far. And it came with a little screw driver to boot!

This is really an ONE time use product
After 20 mins of trying to hammer the short tube in the plug and pulling it out back and forward, the headphone jack piece finally came out. Two Fingers weren’t working good because there wasn’t any further room to pull the short tube.I started freaking out and crying cuz the the tube was sharp and it made him bled. So he had to take the plier to pull it, applying pressure to pull the tube made it flat which I cried even more cuz I literally thought the tube it’s gonna break and stuck there with the headphone jack piece. Finally both of us pull each side and the piece came out. Conclusion : use the plier if your fingers are starting to hurt and bleed, call your friend to help you pull it out if the piece is stubborn like mine. Don’t expect you can use it again, the tube is ruined after one use. Quite expensive for these 2 tubes that don’t provide support when you pull it. Maybe add a ring with the tube ? I guess it’s still worth it cuz I don’t have to go repair shop to fix my iPad.

It did what I needed it to do.
Yes, the material is very thin, but it needs to be, and having made the mistake myself, I wouldn't recommend using pliers, but with patience I was able to remove the tip of the headphone without damaging the jack. Trick was to make sure to get the tool in as far as possible and gripping tightly enough to maintain the hold. I then gently moved it back and forth and out the tip came, but not before 5 or 6 unsuccessful attempts. I would purchase again if I found myself in the same predicament because it worked!

It works as advertised.
THIS! If you have an aux cord tip stuck in your aux cord port, this is the tool. I had to work at it a little but it pulled the end right out without damaging my aux port. It was fairly easy. Great addition to my tool kit.

Not worth it
I used for two iPads. It worked for one, but did not work for other. The material is not that much good, did not like the quality.
