Love that this comes in a spool so that you can easily cut it to your exact need. It installs quickly and is far superior to the adhesive model. Every door on my vehicle has one of these. I dont have to worry about accidentally damaging the door or the guy parked next to me. Originally I just had them on the front doors cause that gets the most use, but the first time I saw one of the kids in the back seat sling open their door I put them on the back doors as well. The spool has enough for two doors if you want the entire length of the door covered or if you just want to hit the high points (doesn't look as nice) you can probably do all 4. It's cheap enough you might as well get two spools and do all 4.

I actually used these for my PC case. I have an older Cooler Master Centurion 532 that had no cable management holes, so everything inside my case was a hot mess. I used a hole saw to cut out three 1.5" diameter holes in my case's backplate and used this edge guard to soften the hard metal edges so they wouldn't dig into the wires. Works perfectly! The edge guard hasn't moved at all since the installation and holds on tight! Highly recommended!

Easy install with a hairdryer to reshape the plastic. However, hot weather and they just fall right off. Dirt definitely gets underneath the product. Constantly fixing them but they have saved my doors from being banged up.

Pretty easy to get in place, but make sure you stretch the cord out for a while before you start. It's wrapped so tightly initially that measuring and cutting gets pretty hard. Letting it relax for a day though (or at least a few hours) helps.

The first thing I realized when I opened the package was that there wasn't enough edge guards to do all 4 doors on my Toyota Camry. I imagine this will be true for most sedans.I economised and cut the length into 4 strips, to protect the most vulnerable part of each door.The 4 stars are because:It looks nicer than I expected, even with the incomplete edging.There's glue in the middle of the U. And it fitted very firmly.I'll update this review when I see how it wears.Tapping with a rubber mallet seems to be an important step to get the glue to hold.

Installed on my truck and the glue would not dry....ended up getting sticky goo on the door and on me when I would close the door. Took this junk off and bought some at Autozone. New one was wider and worked without the mess. Not a good product in my opinion. A sticky mess.Too narrow...Easily comes off...Sticky mess on door.

I didn't get a full 12ft'. I got 8'. Very disappointed after I trimmed the first door on my 09' Silverado and realized only 2' remained. I did get the full 12' with the clear trim. Looks great but I think the black would have looked better.
