A Great Pex Crimp Tool
Seems to be a really good tool and it is easier to use then the ratcheting steel clamp tool that it is replacing. My old ratcheting clamp tool started jamming constantly, so I bought this and it is a big improvement. Although this cannot be used one handed, I usually had to use 2 hands to ratchet down the old one all of the way anyhow. This tool is actually much easier to use then the old one, it is designed like a like a small bolt cutter so it does not take much force crimp the rings. It requires a bit more space to use then a ratcheting steel clamp tool, also there has to be enough room around the fitting to for the tool to fit all of the way around the fitting instead of just reaching the tab on a clamp. The build quality seems great and the design is simple so I expect this tool to last through many years of home use.

Saved me an expensive callout fee
broke through my mains pressure pipe leading to the outside tap. Fixed the pipe myself using this tool.

Right tool for the right job
There are many types of crimpers out there and I have two different ones. I purchased this one after I purchased a larger set. I was limited with crimping space with the other one I purchased. This one fits in locations that do not give you much room. The quality of this product is great, tough, light and simple to use.
