Bought for son's wedding. Tried on and returned lots of dresses. This was the most comfortable and best fitting one. It is flattering and the material is a little stretchy. I would recommend. It is a heavier fabric and there is no hem: it is just a cut but the fabric does not unravel.

Beautiful and comfortable but the hem is unfinished and looks kind of cheap up close.

For reference, I am 5 ft 112lbs. Purchased the black long side Ruched Dress with Cascade Ruffle Skirt size 2 (wasn't even petite). The dress size was perfect and even the length was only about an inch too long with heels. This dress did not come in a 2P, so I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! Perfect!

It's been a minute since I wore this to a wedding, but I must say, I've never been as comfortable & confident in a formal dress, nor received as many complements as I did in this one. I gained weight during Covid and used the dress as my inspiration to drop 10 lbs. before the wedding. I still had to wear my Spanx gear underneath to smooth out the "bumps" which, unless you're a size 6 or below, I highly recommend due to the spandex content in the dress, but that was a no brainer. The spandex is not flimsy but, rather, is like the fabric you'll find in bra bands. The best part is if you need to shorten the back of the dress as I did, you just cut it (I used a rotary cutter & ruler on a cutting mat after carefully measuring & marking). No hemming. No fraying. (Get help if you are unaccustomed to working with fabric because once you cut it, there's no going back.) If I have need for another formal dress, I will definitely get this one in another color (I have the Blush).

This is a really really beautiful dress. Yes, as you may have read in other reviews, it isn't hemmed. What I mean by that is that it doesn't have a sewn hem, it's just cut. This doesn't bother me at all. It's clean and doesn't make it look unfinished whatsoever. Still a very elegant dress! I got the wine color, and it's stunning! The only problems I have are: (1) It's way too long, for me anyway! Even with heels, I'll have to have it hemmed.... So, if I want the hem problem fixed, I'll do it then. Bear in mind, I am only about 5'1", so a taller lady may be fine with the length. (2) I feel like it runs large. I ordered a size 6, which is my normal size. I can definitely wear the 6, but I feel like a 4 would maybe look better on. If you're in between sizes, i'd recommend sizing down!

Returned this poorly made dress 2 days after I received it, in August. The refund was issued then in October I was charged again , the seller claiming the item was not retuned. Be extremely cautious when purchasing products , if they come from China , DO NOT PURCHASE!! This dress was what I’d consider costume quality, then the added hassle of dealing with the return , going on 3 months. It’s been horrible customer service, to the point I’m considering this to be a scam . Consumer beware , Amazon has made our lives so simple w shopping at our fingertips , but then this type of experience happens and becomes quite frustrating. Make sure to look where the item is coming from!!!

Bought this as the mother of the bride after trying on at least 15 dresses (mostly from Amazon because we don't have many options here). Beautiful fabric, modest, and just enough "bling." Fit as if it were made for me - I'm 5'4", 155#, size 12. It was a little long, so for $20 I had it shortened at the drycleaners. (There's no hem to sew; she just needed to trim it by about 2" with sharp scissors or a rotary cutter. Because the hem angles up at the front, I didn't feel confident in doing this myself and still have it look good.) A dressy but comfortable shoe, beautiful earrings, and you're good to go. I was smiling all day and night!
