Very good size for what I need.
I have a “4” person Eskimo shack and it is fine. My son and I ice fish a few times a year and that size is great for us. It’s good quality and blah, blah. However, once a year we do an extended family weekend trip and the boys all go out fishing after breakfast (so we don’t have to clean up) and the lil Eskimo isn’t even close to large enough for 4 adults and 1 13 year old. This guy will be though. Now I haven’t had it on the ice and I’m not sure “waterproof” it’ll be but I don’t care. It appears to be pretty close in quality to my OG. I’ll probably just use it a few times a year and at less that half the cost ya can’t go wrong. The bag isn’t as durable and mine came with a small slice. No big deal. Shipping was fast as well. Can’t wait to get out and drink beers……I mean slay some hogs!

Mighty handy
I was looking for a tent that I could use on my utility trailer in a price point I could handle. As a stand up tent, this thing goes up fast and breaks down fast. The blackout coating is also very nice. Being that this is a winter product, I can't ding it on being somewhat prone to leaks. If it rains, some of the joints leak, as do the windows. It is very hot in the summer. I would use this for ice fishing. It is a good value for the price so far.

Surprisingly adequate
I was actually impressed with this ice shelter. I bought it for kind of a “one time” outing with a number of people so I was not expecting a very high quality shelter. It was roomy, made well enough to use a number of times and was reasonably portable. The material is not quilted insulated material like you see on high end ice huts, but it is no different than any non insulated ones on the market (i.e. the Clam shelter 3x the price). With a heater inside it was plenty comfortable on a cold windy day.As others have mentioned the bag is pointless, once you take this out once it is near impossible to pack it back into the bag. We just use some nylon straps to cinch it down now.The shelter Includes 6 stakes to hold it down, but because of the large profile you do need to use the guy lines in the wind and there aren’t really enough stakes for that.

Easy setup and teardown
We use this to have an enclosed, dust free environment to terminate fiber optic cable. Works fantastic! Easy setup and teardown, spacious and much less expensive than our fiber optic termination trailer. The windows are screened or open completely to allow the fiber to be brought in at a working level. Not sure how it would be for ice fishing but great for terminating fiber.

Titanic leaked less, while it was sinking, less then this tent!his tent
Worse tent I have ever bought. Black as hell on the inside, can't see a thing and it is rubberized, so it absorbs all light. It never stops raining inside with constant condensation, and Seam leaks. I can see straight outdoors through the many stitches seams, and there are many, including a few small tears in the fabric.I Had to spray sealent in every joint and Seam, after I used clear gurrella glue to secure the stitched support canvas that secures the nylon poles. In sunlight, I can see orange day through ceiling fabric and bright light coming through every stitch, which means water will come through also. Both door Zippers leak, stitching leaks, windows leak and are velcroed on backwards so when it rains they leak all through the Velcro onto the inside walls, Puddling on the ground. If you like a tropical rain shower when it is not raining, and don't mind you and everything you own getting soaked??? This is the tent for you.Positives are, it's a big tent, easy to pull up, sturdy metal and solid ice tie down stakes. It has 2 ceiling vents, 4 windows with clear vinyl inserts that Velcro on the inside instead of the outside to prevent water or snow from leaking inside. One window can be blocked for a tent stove chimney and plenty of room for wood, chairs cots, stove and wood pile.It Went up easy with 2 people tugging. And is cheap. $149. Give or take.If you don't mind spending extra money on seam sealent, spray waterproofing, and maybe flex seal White so you can see while inside of it.I will hold my breath during the first heavy snow to see how it does under weight. I suspect the main push in to collapse joints and there are 2, will fold. I plan to support those with pole beams just to make sure it doesn't.I am keeping it as desperate for spare place to house rocks and tumbler equipment for winter. I am in hopes I can find a cure for the constant condinsation all over everything. Or channel all of it for pure water to drink source. Gonna be icecicles inside this winter I'm sure.

pretty sturdy and keeps the wind off you. only good for 2 grown men. not waterproof really
lets start off with the good, this was cheap shipped quickly and showed up in one piece. it is only big enough for 2 men which is fine as only 2 of us go fishing together. it keeps the wind off you and does trap the heat from the heater. also does a decent job of keeping the wind off you. it is also easy to set up once you do it a few times. it also anchors pretty well to the ice and the hasn't had any problems with trying to blow over even in a super strong wind. the windows are pretty nice as well and the velcro on them hold them pretty well closed even in strong winds. onto the bad, this thing is not waterproof it self. it relies on the shape to be waterproof just like an umbrella. if you touch it while the outside is wet then you will get wet. also any standing water on it from a crease will drip through. it also has a small awkward door to get in and out of and its not tall enough to stand up fully in so you'll be hunched over the whole time you aren't sitting down. overall its okay and for the price can not really say its terrible. but it is small and I wouldn't say cramped but its pretty cozy with you and your buddy in it plus a heater.

Easy set up, and durable
I bought this so my wife could have a smoke Shack for the winter. I secured it to our back deck, and put a Buddy propane heater in it. Perfect for the application.. I'm not sure how it would be for the actual application of ice fishing. It seems to hold up well against The wind that we get here on a deck that is reasonably sheltered. My wife also isn't in it for hours and hours and hours. It isn't really waterproof. Moisture does get through the membrane if even in a fine mist. The unit that I have seems to be an end of the line unit, it seems that in a couple of places the stitching was Miss pulled out and then put back in again. But for my purposes this gets a 5 out of 5 stars because it's exactly what I was looking for without having to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars. As a bonus it turns out that I'll probably be able to use it again and again and again. The mechanism is very good for setup and takedown.

Do not buy
Stiching was terrible could see through them which means water can get through which it did first bit of wind and all the stitching ripped around where the pegs were and stiching where poles are inserted poles went through stiching after putting it up , nothing waterproof about it , windows are on the inside as well so rain just seeps through , and also on every corner , whole tent collapsed and ripped with poles going through stiching absolutely useless in my opinion waste of money , only good thing was it came with decent pegs

Superb ⛺!
I originally bought this tent for the purpose of a smoking tent rather than the actual purpose of fishing. Calgary winter season is so unpredictable, this tent is absolutely superb for keeping the cold out, with an added portable heater. It was very easy to build, if your not stoned 😜 it would take about 2 minutes to set up (if Stoner 30 minutes lol). Fits 6 people, a mini table and a garbage bin. Much bigger than the original description of only two people. The only thing that are not great are the zipper and the leaky windows. The zipper is very flimsy, one of the zippers broke completey. It would be more beneficial if you put a string or rope through the zipper or a more durable zipper. The leaky windows are a thing, the only way to stop the leaking is to shut both flaps. Velcro gets soaked.Overall great purchase, only some minor issues.🤟😊

Great little ice shack
I got this as a Christmas present from my wife as I'm a "hole hopper" when out on the lake. First time I set it up I did it in my basement. Very easy to use. If you walk out and pull a sled it fit well in mine and was easy to pull, it fits on the front rack of my atv and with a few bungee straps it's good a secure. If it's really windy it's nice to have a second person to person to help with set up (but not necessary). Stays pretty warm inside with my little buddy heater. If your going to us a heater I recommend getting some foam mats or your feet will be getting wet. You can still hole hop with it takes about a extre 5 minutes, a lot of my friends have have the big name brands that are a lot of money. This is just as good. If you get the black one like I have, I highly recommend getting some reflectors for it if you fish after dark some reflective tape, glow sticks, even some stand alone reflectors with the little metal sticks and push then into the snow around you. If someone drives through you shack it's going to ruin your day. If you do fish after dark I would get a small camping light. I have one that looks like a light bulb and has a clip on the end to hang it up. I find it works very well as this pop up can get pretty dark inside. I hope this helps if someone is looking to buy this as a gift. Tight lines everyone

Not waterproof at all
Bought as a smoke hut for the winter, first rainfall everything is soaked. Easy enough to set up alone tho. Going to get some waterproof spray and see if that helps. Decent size
