The remote control we had vanished, like many of our remotes do into the void of lost remote controls. Purchasing a remote, can oftentimes be a frustrating experience especially when it's not the original equipment. However this works exactly identically the way the original remote worked the buttons were small on the old remote and their small on this one. So if you're upgrading this is going to be the same exact one that came with the TV. It took me seconds to have it working is a matter of putting the batteries in and scanning channels and it acted up right away. That was for a new plug-in on the TV we had moved it else where. So we needed to scan the channels again and it worked perfectly fine the set up on me remote worked, channels and volume all work and the on and off work as they should. The quality is definitely as good as original equipment. I am so happy they sell this item because we were unsure what to buy, as many universal remotes are a big pain in the behind, so by this one it works well it will be identical to the one you buy so there's that it will not have larger buttons and will be just as difficult to see as the old ones were but once you get used to it it's fine.

Didn't work
It did not work for my tv, even though it was supposed to be a universal that matched that make of TV. Wasted my money. Found a cheaper one today that was compatible at Walmart.

Great buy!
I bought this remote because the on/off button on the original remote stopped working. I put batteries in and presses the button, it worked no prancing needed!
