FDW Office Chair | Black | with Lumbar Support, Adjustable Height

I bought this originally for my 7yo to have a desk chair under his loft bed, and he liked it so much, I've actually bought another in pink for my daughter, and will probably be purchasing one for my older son, as well. Easy to assemble, sturdy, good value for the money spent, and the color variety makes my kids' spaces feel unique. I would probably even consider getting one for myself, so definitely a great buy! The only thing I might recommend is using some scotch guard on the mesh seat (at least), as the mesh does make cleaning a bit more difficult. Very comfortable, wheels are smooth, and I am very happy with my purchase(s).

Well, I needed to order two more office chairs, since my grandkids took my two for themselves and left me with their old chairs. I purchased two of the FDW Home Office Chairs three years ago. They have held up well and the wheels still roll freely. I was hoping the price hadn’t changed much, and it hadn’t. The price had actually gone down nearly three dollars. But, what is great about these chairs is that you can assemble them in about ten minutes. No kidding. All you need is a pair of scissors to get the boxes open. I assembled the seats while sitting on an IKEA stool. That made it easy on my back. Begin with the leg assembly. Within a few minutes you will have five wheels on the leg assembly. They snap in very easily, no need for a mallet. Then you place the seat support shaft into the bottom of the leg assembly. It just drops in place. While sitting down, I put the seat bottom (upside down) on my lap and attached the bottom plate and then the seat back. Make sure you look at the directions in order to get the plate orientated correctly. Put two screws in the plate, but do not tighten them yet. Now, place the seat back on to the plate. Put the four supplied screws into the appropriate holes. It is important to take your time with the screws loose in their holes and adjust the two plates so that you can align all the holes, otherwise you may end up stripping the threads. Just tighten the six screws by hand before you really tighten them up. The tightening of the screws will be the longest part of the assembly. When the seat/back is all tight, just place the seat assembly on the main seat support and you are finished. They are great, lightweight, easy rolling office chairs at an affordable price.

It was easy to put together by myself. I got the color pink and it looks nice. Very bright and uplifting. It's relatively sturdy, but I wouldn't test it to harshly. The wheels don't have a stopper. Perfect for that busy office where you need the chair to go anywhere. Wheeeee! Takes a little core training to keep it steady. There is a comfort curve though if you will be sitting on it for long hours. I recommend a secondary seat cushion.

I was somewhat dismayed when I saw how small the package came in is, anticipating much assembly. Not the case at all. All the pieces are expertly packed with no space waste, and it is actually satisfyingly enjoyable to assemble. Everything including parts, instruction guides, and a 90-day warranty card are included. Not sure why there is a zipper on the backrest, and I could not find an answer for that nor as to how to raise the backrest, but the height as it comes is perfect for me. I would not subject this chair to rough treatment, but for a home computer room it is superb. I purchased the green to go with my light green milk-painted office furniture and hoped it would not be too neon. Happily, it is not and complements them as nicely as I could hope. Sturdy, stylish, perfect for me. Great buy, excellent price.

Bought for our quilting classroom. Ladies love these chairs

This chair is esthetically pleasing and quite affordable. It was very easy to assemble. However, the back of the chair tilts backwards immediately if you lean back the slightest bit and there's no way to fix this. Also, the seat is a bit small, causing stability issues. Other than that, it does do the job of being a chair.

After having to return two typing chairs cuz I could not put them together (I am 74 so might be why) but I had zero issues putting this together. The seat could be a better cushion and may have to get another cushion for it but I am just happy I could put it together! I wish it was all white hardware instead of black but not a large issue.

Works wonderful and the price is ok

The chair seat itself is SLIGHTLY smaller than I think it ought to be and I'm on the slimmer side, but it's a cute-lookibg chair, assembled easily and sturdy and mostly comfortable.

I recently bought the FDW Mid Mesh Desk Armless Ergonomic Task Chair, and so far it’s working well. It’s lightweight, easy to assemble, and doesn’t take up much space, which is great for a small desk area. The mesh back is comfortable and provides decent support, and the adjustable height makes it easy to fit different desk setups. For the price, it’s a good basic office chair for everyday use.

comfortable and easy to install, the downside would be with two years of gently used, it doesn't go up and down smoothly anymore even with the help of lubricant

Nous l'avons acheté pour notre fille de 7 ans, mais qui est très grande pour son âge. Ça convient très bien. Comme adulte, disons que je la trouve un peu petite en gabarit et que le confort et l'ergonomie ne me conviendrait pas pour des heures de bureau passées dessus. Par contre, pour un jeune et/ou un usage limité, je trouve que c est un bon achat.

Ne roule pas bien, tu ne peux pas reculer avec ta chaise car les roues bloquent. Ma fille est tombé à deux reprises. N'acheter pas cette chaise.
