DUROCK Switch Film 0.15mm HTV+PC for Cherry MX Switches (120pcs)

These aren't the thickest films, but the transparent aesthetic is nice and the sound and stability these provide with tighter housed switches is great. I used these with Banana Splits, which are already super tight and secure but these were the perfect addition and added a nice thocky texture to my switches. Any thicker and they probably wouldn't have closed back up, so they're a great choice if you need thin films! Buy these if you need thin films fast and cheap. The packaging is also really nice, and they're easy to assemble.

Tedious, just like the rest of the lubing process, but the results with gat yellows was pretty significant. Went into a glorious bare bones. Tried filmed and not, and the filmed switches were way more satisfying. Not difficult to place, but I hadn’t ever done it before so it took a couple of hours to lube and film a whole keyboard. Certainly in this case it was worth the very small investment of $$ and some extra fiddly time.

Good product. A little difficult to apply but definitely reduces the overall wobble on switches. Perfect thickness for most switchs. Decreased poppy sound from switches and mafe them sound deeper. I highly recommend if you care about sound and feel of a keyboard but if not crazy about it then you can definitely pass.

I lubed and filmed a TKL worth of MX1A Blacks with these and it makes a huge difference. Really tightens up the housings. You can get films cheaper elsewhere but it's convenient here I guess. Good films, a little expensive.

I'm possibly a sucker who paid $1 a pop for Zeal silent switches, which come in basic Gateron cases. The problem with the cases is they rattle around. The top clips onto the bottom with some slop. These films (and probably any films) take up that slack and the sound difference is huge. Gone is the rattle. My silents are now silent. Basically, Gateron casings, and probably many others, are badly designed. It would be quite possible to manufacture them with a rattle-free design I'm sure. But otherwise, you have to use films. Not a big deal if you were planning to lube.

$10 is a little above the actual retail value of these, but for the benefit of buying on Amazon, it's no big deal. Overall, they are good switch films. Deskeys or THICC films are easier to use and work better for some switches, but the perk of these TX films is that they'll fit on pretty much any switch. Even if the thin plastic, is a little harder to lay on the switches haha

I used these for Akko V3 Lavender Purple Switches with satisfying results. These films can be tricky to seat correctly. Still, I found that the most reliable way to assemble the switch is to position it with the top housing upside down, then place the stem and spring in position in the top housing (also upside down), and finally use the back housing to seal everything in, making adjustments to the film just before completely sealing it. Doing 108 switches with lubing and film took about 6 hours for my first time with it, so I had a show and much free time before tackling this task.

It was hard to apply without messing up the figment i ended up using them on only a few switches
