Update: AMAZING customer service, got the part and it’s now a heck of a piece for my outdoor studioSeriously, this product is great. Sturdy, just what I’m looking for. Except it’s missing the top screw part where my light attaches to and I can’t figure out how to message the seller so I’m hoping they see this!

These are awesome light stands. Love the all metal construction and the internal springs makes it super easy to adjust!! Would highly recommend if your looking for something that will last!!!

I got this just an hour ago and immediately tried it out with my strobes and lightboxes. It holds my largest strip box with no wabble at all, no problem with any of my stuff. My other stands are lightweight and I always had to worry the heavier things would tip them over, not with this stand, it's heavy duty and works great. I have no complaints and if asked if I might buy another, yes, definitely.

A) I was expecting it to be a little heavier, not a c-stand weight, but a bit more. Yes, I have sandbags, but still, it would be nice if it had another couple of pounds to hold larger softboxes - as it currently feels unstable.B) Craftsmanship leaves much to be desired. The head that contains the threads is not secure where it connects with the pole itself, leaving lights or other equipment attached to wobble and not stay secure.I will be returning this item, I suggest you look elsewhere too.

Good height and stability. I mounted a Godox 400 strobe with a 24x36 softbox on the stand and raised to 8 foot. Seems able to hold the weight without slipping down. Legs are wide enough to keep it from being unstable even without weight bags etc. Semi heavy weight to carry and minimum height may be an issue for some?

I bought this for my Godox Photo Light and I'm glad I did. The first couple of uses I did have some trouble getting the legs to move outward but the tricks is before setting up everything turn the stand upside down and move the legs in an out a few times. This will loosen then up and from then on you will be able to move them with ease. The pole has two places you can adjust height and they have springs in them so they move up very easily. This stand has some weight but is not heavy. It's easy to move around but very stable.
