French Superpack with USB drive (With Ease, Beginners, B2) 1st Edition

Great tool for introduction and learning a new language!

The box is misleading. It’s a very small book with a usb drive. Not conducive to studying if you like writing in books.

This could be a good book as the material is quite loaded with words and expressions and it goes rather fast. Don't use it if you are a complete beginner, you won't get far. Get some basics somewhere else and then come back. They do advertise this as for "false beginners" so I was ready for it and this is actually a good thing. However, there are plenty of mis-translations so you can't learn much if you don't have the google translate open and do your own translation on the side. Also, one of the speakers on the audio tracks is a complete garbage. He speaks so incredibly fast that his text is completely useless to me at the beginner's level. If they add him to the later chapters, then maybe he would make sense. But even then, he is TOO FAST! The other speakers are great. Only this one is completely useless to me. There is no way I could even give 4 stars to book. 3 stars it is! Fix the book, you will get more five stars.

Absolutely full of great content, that builds upon itself. Also dozens of colloquial expressions.Downsides: I’ve found maybe a dozen errors in the 70 lessons I’ve done. Content was clearly not throughly checked.Example: “j’ai passé l’aspirateur” is mistranslated as “I passed the vacuum” instead of “I vacuumed”Another smaller headache: I save the expressions as flash cards. This is difficult as the translations aren’t always exact. This makes going from English-French very difficult in review.Lastly- translations are clearly for the UK, not American English. Might seem minor, but it’s a pain if you don’t know the UK equivalent of something.
