Dead Pixels/LED array "gash"
It a good thing we're using two monitors for a desk-top set up as the LED "gash" with a swath of dead pixels is disappointing, yet not insurmountable. Luckily had a HP Thunderbolt hub making a dual monitor set up worthwhile.Responsiveness, storage space, and small foot print/light weight is much appreciated!

Nightmare Laptop
from the beginning this laptop had issues staying connected to the internet , both ethernet and wifi. long story short it was a headache getting hp to help us, we returned the laptop twice for replacement parts, wiped it multiple times, messed with the bios and nothing. It is an expensive brick. if you are thinking of getting an HP laptop I would suggest getting it directly from hp to avoid having a vendor and amazon as a middle man. we did not get a refund by the way.

within 5 months, screen started showing some lines
It started with one dot - just one dot and eventually screen was showing some lines from within. Like as if there is some liquid inside screen and that causes shadow. I bought this computer for my consulting work and company had downloaded couple of software so I could not return. Wifi and speed fine.Suddenly after 10 months - voice driver disappeared when HP sent updates. But HP support fixed it afterwards.
