These inner tubes seem to be extremely well made and very thick, for the price I think they are awesome!! I was always told blue line goes down away from the hole, but I guess that was changed because definitely the blue line up on these or you'll have issues like I did. Once I put them in the right way they work perfect, I would definitely recommend!!

I've tubed hundreds if not thousands of tires. And after all that I'm a pretty die hard Carlisle guy when it comes to tubes. But a bit of a time crunch and these being 2 day delivery, and 2 for the price of 1 Carlisle tube with good reviews I rolled the dice. And I must say I'm skeptical but they do feel like surprisingly nice quality tubes. Feel like good quality rubber and nice thickness, and the thickness is consistent. I haven't used the tractor I put them in much yet, but got them in with no issues and they are holding air after 2 days. And being they felt surprisingly nice my hopes are cautiously optimistic. And I use the tractor they're in quite a bit not only cutting, a tenant cuts with it, and it also pulls a 4x8 trailer moving yard waste and sometimes logs. And I'm not easy on equipment so these will be put through the paces before fall is out. If I haven't edited this with one star and a detailed failure analysis you can assume they're holding up. I put them in tires that are in near perfect shape but just had slow leaks and are on nice smooth clean rims holding paint and no burrs. Tires were thoroughly checked for anything poking through, everything was clean and dry, and neither tube was disturbed during installation. So short of a puncture from me running over a nail or something I will be highly agitated if they don't last forever. A word of warning on packaging: These came completely bare in a smallish box. Not wrapped in anything, not so much as even packing paper or a cheap plastic bag... so be careful opening the box with a blade... a tube could literally be right up against the back of the tape you're cutting. ------------------------------------------------------ SECOND ORDER --- June 12 2023 --- 3 maybe 4 stars so dropped a star total 4.80/4.00-8" Tire Inner Tubes by Cenipar For Heavy Duty Cart,Like Hand Trucks, Garden Carts,Mowers And More, Pack of 2 -25% $11.99 First the 20x8-8s reviewed above are still going strong with no issues, I'd recommend them 100%. So after being pretty impressed with those I searched for Cenipar when I needed a 4.80x4-8. And with that size the tube itself feels great, just like the other, nice and thick good rubber, but the valve stem looks a bit flimsy. Kind of on the thin side, particularly at the base. Normally the valve stem will be a bit thicker at the base which is good to handle the torsion and rubbing it will inevitably get at the valve hole of the rim. These are straight all the way down. That being said the one I used is working fine so far, and the overall tube rubber was nice and thick and consistent, but I see the thin-at-the-base valve stem as a weak spot and potential point of failure. So revised summary... Still 5 stars for the 20x8-8, looked great in every way and still holding up to rough service... but dropped a star for the 4.80x4-8 having a less than impressive valve stem. You could still do way worse for a tube, it's not horrible. Main takeaway - some varying specs from size to size. Even at that, the one nit-pick with the 4.80x4-8 may still not be a deal breaker for the price and convenience, especially if the last. And again if there's no failure analysis update you can assume they are still going.

If your lawn tractor tire keeps loosing air but still has usable tread remaining these tire tubes will keep it rolling at a reasonable cost verses purchasing a much more expensive new tire. Check out a utube video showing g how to remove your existing tire and putting in this new tube. Keep in mind you’ll have to do this part anyway if you chose to replace the old tire with a new one. And yes, you could buy a new tire already on a new rim to put on your tractor but at a much higher price for that convenience. So if you like saving money (and I suspect most do) watch the tube install video on how to do this. And if you don’t think you can do this, necessity is the mother of invention. Dish soap around the rim and a couple of large common blade screw drivers is all you need with a little elbow grease. Today there are lots of small battery operated air v compressors on Amazon and use your imagination as to where else to look that are small enough to fit in your glovebox. Get one (available in some places for >$15 to put the necessary amount of air and you’re good as new. Then you’ll have an air pump for your car which at some point we all need. It’s a win-win situation. That same mini compressor can be used for your bike if you have one for exercise or transportation as well as a pool floaty filler or sports ball 🏈 🏀⚽️ filler. Let’s face it. We ALL gotta’ have air! But this is supposed to be about the tubes so just place the air thingy in your memory banks for future reference. I have replaced several tubes in tires before and have not been disappointed. A word of caution though. Do not ride on any tire with a tub with very little air in them. That creates the very real possibility (it’s happened to me) whereby the tire can slip on the rim while the inner tube does not have that option. Why? Because the tire valve sticking through the hole designed for that valve holds it in place. Recognize it can move slightly resulting in a valve that shifts its angle and that causes the wall of the tube valve to be forced into the sometimes sharp edges of the hole in the rim through which the valve protrudes. A sharp edge WILL cut the wall of the valve causing a leak that is not repairable due to its location. Avoid all that by keeping correct air pressure (that amount of air is embossed on the tire wall along with the tire size) and that is the justification of owning a mini compressor. Your car tires will love being air pampered to and will reward you with greater longevity and better gas milage. It all adds up to more than just a little savings. I recently had a rear tire go down on my riding mower due to a cut in the sidewall. I had to buy a replacement wheel at a local big box store ($119) because I had to finish the task. After closer inspection of the damaged tire, I determined I could probably just put a tube in it and keep it as a spare. I prefer this material composition due to its ability to withstand the environmental variations without breaking down. I use this type of tube in many of my wheeled equipment that have pneumatic tires. I use these tubes in my mower tires and my oxygen and acetylene tank cart. This particular inner tube will save me more money in the long term by not having to replace tires as often. These inner tubes are economical and thicker than most. They hold air longer than the natural rubber ones and they ride smoothly. These are versatile inner tubes and they are compatible with their stated tire size. They appear to be very durable. These tubes do not develop flat spots or lose air arbitrarily.

Came quickly and performed perfectly without issue. Months later, air is holding. So much easier then patching the tube, especially if it's a old one.
