As a medical student, I find myself going through pen after pen every few weeks with pages of notes and flash cards. In fact a callous has formed on my middle finger as all the pressure from hard grips I've been using.I cannot stress how much this pen has made a difference in my writing. Not only is it pain-free but my handwriting has improved because I don't have to rush my note taking in order to free myself from the pain of a hard grip. And, most importantly, I can now enjoy writing!A couple quick facts:It is a very smooth write, especially with the 1.0mm tip.Grip can be removed and washed if necessary (I've found that, like most pens, it will accumulate oils from your hand and may turn a darker color. No need to worry though, as it can be cleaned easily)Color is vibrant and fun to use! Also a great color for October and Breast Cancer Awareness!Grip is soft, gel-like cushion. It's firm enough to allow you to be able to control the pen, but not so firm that it impedes on your quality of life.I often use the pen clip and find that the plastic pens break often. So far, this pen clip has held up very well.Great pen. Highly recommend for anyone who hand writes regularly.

The Pilot Dr. Grip Retractable Ballpoint Pen is the best pen out there for the price. I do a LOT of handwriting for my job, 8hrs a day, 5 days a week and in my 20 yrs on the job I have not found a pen that is more comfortable or writes more smoothly. I've tried other brands - some more expensive, some cheaper - and I always go back to a Pilot. This particular pen is nice to look at, feels good in the hand, well balanced and the ink is smooth and makes a nice, consistently dark line. Love it. If you have a job like mine where you are filling out paperwork and forms all day long, give this pen a try.

This pen is amazing. I have slight arthritis in my writing hand and this pen reduces pain. I'm in college so I write a lot. The pen glides nicely but don't drop it with the pen popped open for writing. Like any other gel pen it the ink skips after being dropped. This happened a few times but I continue to buy the pen because it's so comfortable.

I swear by Pilot’s Dr grip (center of gravity) pens! If u like a nice, smooth writing experience without that sharp type of feeling (like a lot of the gel ink pens), then this is definitely for u. The 1st time I got one I was debating bc of the price... but with all honesty, they’re the only pens I’ve bought ever since. ESP if u do a lot of writing, u most likely will not regret trying this pen.

What can I say? This pen writes like a dream.... only drawback is that it is a bit on the pricer side, but it's a small price to pay for the pleasure of using this magnificent writing instrument.

I've used Dr. Grip Center of Gravity ink pens for years. This one uses the same ink refills, but the pen weighs .02 oz less than a Center of Gravity. It's a nice looking pen, feels good in the hand and the ink is smooth, but it is not a balanced pen if that is what you're looking for.

I am an interpreter so I do write a lot on a daily basis and I'm extremely picky with my pens. The more comfortable, the better. I have to say that this is the most comfortable pen I've ever used. Not only the grip is is as soft as it can be but the width of the pen is perfect. The ink is also so smooth... totally recommend it for all people who write a lot and/or who have to write fast like me.

I love this pen it’s so smooth and glides easily with every stroke. Sheesh I never wanted to write so bad!

I purchased this pen specifically based on reviews from those who have difficulty writing due to tremors. It's a very sturdy pen and the ink flow is simply delicious however, it's not as heavy as I was hoping it would be.If it were heavier, I could've really loved this pen. It does work for me better than a regular pen, though, but my tremors are just too strong in my hands I guess
