Question 1

Can this be used to juice pomegranates?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Just received today and juiced about 2 dozen pomegranates. Juice comes out clear with just the odd seed or two getting through. Although the press is heavy and stable, you will have to hold the back down while pressing pomegranates. With citrus, it is a one-handed operation.

Question 2

Do you offer a longer main bar so a pint glass can fit under it?

Accepted Answer

This one does not have a longer bar, I had to use a measuring cup to collect juice because i could not fit a regular tall glass under and the bottom part of the stand is too narrow to fit a bowl

Question 3

what size glass fits under the juicer?

Accepted Answer

Hello there! The Zulay Kitchen Cast-Iron Orange Juice Squeezer has a citrus press bowl with a diameter of 5 inches. To catch the freshly squeezed juice, we recommend using a glass with a diameter of 5 inches or larger. This allows you to enjoy the juicing process without worrying about spills or splashes. If you have any more questions or if there's anything else I can help you with, feel free to ask!

Question 4

The upside down cone that touches the upper part of the lemon when you squeeze it: can you detach it to clean thoroughly?

Accepted Answer

Hello! Absolutely! The Zulay Kitchen Cast-Iron Orange Juice Squeezer is designed for easy cleaning. The stainless steel strainer cup, which is the upside-down cone that touches the upper part of the lemon during squeezing, is detachable. Not only does this allow you to clean it thoroughly, but it's also dishwasher-friendly. You can simply remove the strainer cup and toss it in the dishwasher for added convenience. This ensures that maintaining the juicer in top condition is efficient and hassle-free. If you have any more questions or if there's anything else you'd like to know, feel free to ask!
