Worked as advertised

The cable does not come with a strain relief, so it wont even properly fit. The wires themselves are a magnitude thinner than beyerdynamic's. The cable housing quality is fine. The length is shorter than expected. Spend the extra for a genuine real cable. (not to be confused with this, which for some reason is on their amazon page?)

I had to check continuity with a multimeter, but the simple conversion to follow is (white=yellow) (red=red) and (black=blue). So just follow the wires from the cable, follow my color conversion, and should work in no time.

This is low quality wire configured somewhat like the original BeyerDynamic cable -- I didn't want it on my fancy headphones. It would be better to get the BD cable, if you can find it. This is the kind of thing that looks OK on the internet but is a letdown when you get it.

I ordered this and another that sold for twice the price. When I compared the 2 they were identical, so I returned the more expensive one. Note that to replace the cord you will likely need special small size bits to remove the screws holding the earpieces together. You only have to open the side the cord enters. Youwill also need a small soldering pencil with a small tip to solder the wire ends in place. If you do not have the right tools and soldering equipment and experience doing small electronic work, find an experienced friend or let a repair shop do the work.Note 2: This a 3 wire cable, it will not work if your headphones have an integrated microphone. For this you will need one with 4 wires and a plug with 2 rings on the connector. I have since ordered 2 more of these cables that I will use to repair a couple other pairs of headphones that also need new/better cords.
