Works just as well as the red well-known brand for almost half the cost.

My one significant gripe (so far) is that when the valve is 100% closed the handle doesn't fold over the body of the refill adapter. Maybe mine is "faulty" in that regard, though it did work to refill my small isobutane canister from a larger one. Of course my reasoning for that is that the smaller canister works well for short trips/backpacking where you don't need or want to carry more fuel than necessary. Aside from that the product works well and mine even came with quick instructions on how to use it. I think using it is pretty obvious except perhaps to those who have never done it before. It is recommended and it does help to put the canister we're refilling into the freezer for at least 5 minutes before refilling it from the full or mostly full and approximately room temperature canister. Due to physics that I can't explain well the temperature differential helps the liquid isobutane fuel mixture to flow from the top canister to the bottom one.

I got tired of buying ~110g canisters when ~220g cost a whopping dollar more (in most cases). I prefer to carry the smaller canisters because a) they're smaller and b) one 100g typically outlasts even a 4-day trip for me. Then I heard about devices like this and started buying the even larger ~450g sizes to refill the more compact canisters I have kicking around. So long as you give yourself time beforehand to prep, this thing is great! I haven't had any leaks (or explosions!) when transferring fuel from my larger canisters to smaller—always a plus! Additionally, I don't have to worry about crushing old (smaller) cans to recycle them: I can just reuse them. (Guess I still need to crush the larger ones, but hey!) Fit and finish seems well-made, too. Save your money: get yourself a ~110g canister, a ~450g for later, and this device, and you should be golden.

Works as expected. Was able to transfer fuel from various stragglers and fill up one 230g can. Yay! That was my main use case; consolidation. I can also see a use case where I actually want LESS fuel for say a short solo trip and can put this little gizmo to use to achieve that.

After many years of using a canister stove, several partially filled canisters accumulated. Not wanting to risk running out of gas on a hike, a full cylinder was normally used for backpacking. With this gizmo, it was possible to consolidate gas into a few full canisters and toss all the empties. It is also possible to fill two empty 110g. cylinders from one full 250g. cylinder. Given pricing favors large cylinders, this adapter will pay for itself over time. Its easy to use (donor cylinder goes in the sun, cylinder to be filled goes in the freezer) and takes only a few minutes. Highly reccomended.

I saw someone, at a trailhead, using one of these, brilliant! Now I never have to pack extra weight because I only have partial fuel cans.

Very flimsy and is leaking in one valve when trying to refill... Poor quality don't recommend! Waste of money!

Wasn't sure if this was going to be as good as the reviews, but can say, very surprised, well built Simple to use ,instructions clear and precise, lot's of full can's now ,found it best to weigh a completely empty can as to not overfill ,would highly recommend this

This should save me a lot of money in emptying all the bits of gas left in part used cannisters , also will save by buying large cannisters and decanting into the small 110g
