Hoppe's Elite One Piece Carbon Fiber Cleaning Rod (.22 Caliber Pistol), 8"

This is one very high-quality piece of equipment. Smooth bearings, rigid strong rod, and very comfortable handle. The bearings allow the rod it turns of the brush can follow the contours of the rifling. There are times when you want a rotating rod and times that you want a straight one. This is one of the rotating kind and it works fantastic.So far all the oils and lubricants clean easily off the rod and don’t leave any blemishes or marks. And this one is long enough to clean any handguns or carbines you might have. When you add the length of the brush to the total length of the rod and you could even clean a rifle in a pinch if you went through the barrel both sides.I get the impression that this will be sort of a family heirloom kind of thing that one day I will pass to my children.It simply is his quality. It’s a shame that some of the other Hoppes products don’t seem to keep to the standard of quality.

Best cleaning rod on the market! The swivel handle is where it’s at! It allows the rod and attached cleaning brush of your choice to turn down the barrel with its rifling. This is the best way to clean a rifle without damaging the rifling. The old style rods only allowed the rod to swivel when pushed down the barrel, but when pulled back thru the barrel it wouldn’t swivel.I clean 3 rifles 3 times a week and this rod has saved me a ton of time and is a real wrist saver. Handle is well made and comfortably fits the hand. Rod is strong and sturdy, yet flexible. Tip is incorporated well into the rod and everything about the product is quality.This is the best cleaning rod I’ve ever used and probably the last one I’ll ever need! I recommend this product 100%. Worth every penny!

When I purchased my first handgun 4+ years ago, needed a way to clean it. Bought the Hoppe's wood boxed cleaning kit with the T handle. Which worked. Then I saw this, and with no rifles or such, seemed to fit the bill. All I've used for 3+ years, the T handle sits in it's case. Durable, comfortable, and looks handsome, lol.

I finally got tired of using cheap pistol cleaning rods (the aluminum ones that come in the Hoppe's basic kits, or the plastic ones that some manufacturers include with their firearms) and I decided to give this one a try. I decided to try a carbon fiber rod for pistols and revolvers and so far this one is proving to be very nice. The handle is comfortable, the rod stays perfectly straight, and the brass tip seems securely attached. The ball bearings are smooth and I'm confident this rod will be around for some time. The only issue I have with it is that I need a bigger box to hold my cleaning supplies because it's a little longer than the ammo can I've been using!

Works great, but Amazon ships it very poorly packaged, and my first order ended up broken on arrival. Be prepared to exchange it when they ship it to you in a dumb soft-sided envelope. Once they get you one intact, it works so nicely.

Excellent quality. Use it offen on 22cal to 45cal.

Worth the money, wish I'd gotten one years ago. I usually shoot several different pistols when I go to the range, including revolvers, and this Hoppe's Elite cleaning rod makes cleaning my guns an absolute joy. Extremely well made, comfortable in the hand, very rigid when pushing through brushes and patches. Awesome.

For years, I used brass pistol rods for cleaning my guns. I decided to upgrade to a carbon fiber pistol rod to have a better grip on the handle. This works well for cleaning my pistols and revolvers. It's just long enough to clean a Ruger Blackhawk with a 7.5" barrel, but not long enough to clean a Ruger Mark III 6" from the breach end. Using the correct brush or a tight patch, the rod turns with the rifling on the smooth ball bearings. Overall, really good product.
