I bought a Tefal Air casserole pan and needed something other than my great but cumbersome silicon oven gloves to move it on the hob or retrieve it from the oven.These came up as a recommendation and on reviewing it, seemed ideal. The fact you get a pack of 2 is good, means that if you have more than one pan that these fit onto being used at one time, you don't need to swap one onto the other. Or just have a set as spare.Bear in mind that silicon won't stop heat transferring through, it just means that the item can be held for a time in order to move off or remove from the heat. So for the purposes of taking the pan out of the oven or off a hob, these are perfect. You can hold the handle to dish up, though by the time it's been on for a few minutes, the heat is starting to come through, but still bearable to handle.Don't leave these on whilst you cook. It's not made to use like that. Treat them like you would an oven glove and have the expectation of an oven glove when using.I love these, makes it so much easier to remove a small handled or lipped casserole dish from the oven or hob than having a glove that poses the risk of dropping due to size.Highly recommend.

Useful for saucepans/woks that don't come with heat proof handles and burn your fingers - just slip these on and be protected!

When I bought my pans I did not realise that the lid handles would get too hot to handle. These are perfect. Easy to use, easy to clean and easy to grip

they are not heat resistant much at all I put one on my griddle pan the heat from the handle was getting through fat to easily not good fit for purpose.

Was about to discard my ‘newish’ saucepans as the handle were too hot to handle and then found theseVery pleased with them ..No more burnt fingers

These are very handy for use with pots that have metal handles on the sides, there is a bit of 'play' (so they do not fit tightly) but that is to be expected as they are made for a variety of different pots.Good value overall

Very happy with my purchase. Both, pot holders and handle covers work very well. They get little bit warm but do not require any extra covering. 5/5.

I got these to use with my cast iron pans. They are very loose and don't stay on at all. Maybe its supposed to be designed that way ? I found it to be not very safe for the slip cover since the handle slides out and twists inside very easily. It made it hard to pour anything out of the pan. Does work well for heat protection and easy to use. I personally don't like them because of how easy it falls off.

These work great with the Calphalon Anodized aluminum pots and pans. The product has looped aluminum handles that get hot when cooking. I usually leave these on the pan cover and grab enough for each side loop handles on the dutch oven and large saute pans to move or pour into a different vessel or serving dish.They have definitely earned a 5 star review from me.
