I wanted a boar bristle brush for my short-haired cats but hesitated to buy this because of the many negative reviews. Maybe it would be good for a beard but it is great for kitties. It is small and for that reason not great for a large human or big animal. I pull on the bristles to clean it of kitty hair and the bristles have not been falling out. It is small and soft enough to brush all around their face and ears and all over their furry bodies. They love every stroke.

I bought this brush to use in a handbag with very little space so I was attracted to the small size. I have a chin length bob & fine straight hair but this brush is a bit small scaled and short bristled even for my hair. I think it would be perfect for a young child. I have been using it and it’s the perfect size for my bag but I’d advise going larger if you can.It arrived earlier than expected and is very nice quality!

I wanted to buy a new hairbrush for my 2 year old and 4 year old boys. Their hair is getting thicker and they've outgrown their little plastic infant hairbrush. I looked and most of the tiny hairbrushes have metal or plastic spread-out bristles. I wanted something with bristles like this, but that was still small enough for them to handle. This is perfect. They love being able to brush their own hair and this one is soft enough that it feels nice, but sturdy enough that it get through their thick hair.

This 100% Boar Bristle hair Brush works well for little kids or people with very fine hair. I found the bristles to be a bit softer than what I'm used to. I gave it three stars because the brush is very little. I have a lot of hair and I found that this wasn't helping me cover as much area as I needed when trying to slick my hair back into a ponytail. If you have thick / natural hair, this brush is not a good fit. But if you have fine hair of straight hair, this brush could work well for you. I tried 18 different brushes, and this one won best overall for bristle length, stiffness, spacing, and handle shape/size. It's stiff enough to "comb" through my beard, but does not irritate my face. It's not too big or small, long or short. It's perfect!

I have fine hair, but a lot of it. I bought this brush hoping to carry it in my purse or put it in my desk at work because throughout the day my hair gets tangled and looks stringy if not kept brushed. I'd been reading up on boar bristle brushes and how they are great for fine, oily hair. Well this thing was terrible, yes it is small which is what I wanted, BUT the bristles are so soft that I can't get it through my hair at all. Even when I section it into small pieces! I can't imagine this doing any good on tangles and all it did was make my hair SUPER staticky. Yes it was cheap which is why I bought it, why pay a ton for a tiny brush? But if it isn't going to work, its not worth it. Also the bristles are already falling out and I've had it for 10 minutes.

I use this brush on my mustache. It's just the right size and the bristles are not too stiff. It works out great for brushing in the pomade I use on my mustache. Easy for traveling, as it fits well in a toiletry bag.
