Gets the Job Done
I’ve been using the Debrox Ear Wax Removal Kit with the bulb syringe, and it’s honestly one of the easiest and most reliable ways I’ve found to deal with earwax at home. The system is straightforward: you use the drops first, and they create a light foaming action that helps soften and loosen built-up wax. Then you use the included bulb syringe with warm water to rinse everything out. The process feels gentle and not harsh, which was important to me. What I like most is how complete the kit feels. You’re not just getting drops—you also get the soft rubber bulb, which makes it easy to finish the job properly without needing extra tools. The bulb syringe itself is simple but effective. It’s soft and easy to squeeze, and it gives you enough control to rinse without feeling like you’re using too much pressure. Once you get the hang of it, the whole process takes just a few minutes. In terms of results, it works well for mild to moderate buildup. I’ve noticed clearer hearing and less pressure after using it, especially compared to just using drops alone. That said, it does take a little patience. You may need to repeat the process over a couple of days for heavier buildup. Also, you have to follow the instructions carefully—especially with water temperature and not using it if you have ear issues. Overall, this is a reliable, no-frills ear cleaning kit that does exactly what it promises. It’s affordable, easy to use, and a solid alternative to constant doctor visits for minor earwax problems.

Instructions Unclear, HERE'S THE RIGHT INSTRUCTIONS
INDEX [1] How my ear got stuck [2] Packaging and ChatGPT instructions [3] Attempt #1 (didn't work) [4] Freaking out [5] Attempt #2 (worked) [6] Pre-instructions [7] Step-by-Step Instructions [8] Post-instructions [9] TLDR [1] The product definitely works. You can skip to the instructions if you want to, but I'll be giving some background. I used a cotton swab to try to clean out my ear after feeling it was getting a little bit too waxy for my liking after using earphones for a while right after a shower, then accidentally pushed in the cotton swab too far into my right ear and pushing the wax pretty deep in. I started panicking because it's most definitely not normal to not be able to hear 80% of what you could before and constantly have my right ear sound like I'm either under water or wearing noise cancelling earphones 24/7. [2] So, I bought this product and followed the instructions. I also consulted with ChatGPT just to make sure I wasn't doing anything stupid to damage my ear. Here's what I was told from the instructions and ChatGPT. (1) Follow the instructions on the back of the packaging. (2) Flush gently 3-5 times because the ear canal is sensitive and to not damage it because it could lead to permanent ear damage or an ear infection if the wax is pushed in deeper and left there for too long. (3) If it doesn't work by the last day, go to a doctor because you don't want to risk an ear infection. [3] With that out of the way, let me put into perspective of what happened. Day 1, I did my first round of carbamide after the shower. 8 drops, 10 minutes in, 10 minutes drain, not much happened aside from a little popping. When nothing happened drastically, I thought it was fine because the packaging had said this was a 4-day process. Day 2, 10 drops in, 10 minutes in, 10 minutes drain, nothing happened besides some slight drainage similar to when you get out of a pool and your ears slightly drip out wax. This is where I started to panic because I didn't hear any popping or crackling like Day 1, so I asked ChatGPT again which told me I had to trust it and follow the instructions, or go to a doctor if I wanted immediate removal. Day 3, exact same situation as Day 2 but increased worry and "I'm freaking out WHY AREN'T YOU WORKING" vibes. Day 4, 10 drops in, 10 minutes in, 10 minutes out, gently flushed with the bulb 3-5 times, and I felt like I pushed the wax even deeper in my ear. This is where I started to freak out for a few reasons. I know doctors visits are generally pretty expensive. I might have messed up my ear unknowingly. I might have pushed in the wax even deeper. [4] I did a bunch more looking around in a freaked-out fashion. Here's what I found out. As of June, 2025, a visit to Urgent Care is $100, then the cleaning was $50, totaling $150 out of pocket. Apparently in January of 2021, it was $35 - $75 total for the same procedure which took the medical offices about 5 - 10 minutes. I only assume from the point I'm writing this that the price will go up simply just because of the health care industry. I called urgent care, and the lady at urgent care (super lovely btw) told me I could try hydrogen peroxide 3% mixed with warm water instead of carbamide peroxide (the solution in this product) and try an ear spoon with a rubber tip. Hydrogen peroxide is a bit stronger and works a bit faster but is also more risky. I didn't do either because I frantically continued searching around on Google, Quora, Reddit, and Facebook forums to see if any of them had useful information which ended up pretty disappointing. Then I looked into the reviews of this product to see why it had so many reviews and over 4 stars and found the solution to my ears. [5] [Skip this part if you want to see instructions] I followed the instructions from two different posts, aligned them, and disregarded everything I looked up beforehand with ChatGPT and forums. After letting the solutions sit for the time and flushing it out of my right ear, A TON OF WAX came out. I know in the sink it doesn't look like much, but try to imagine your pinky fingernail because it was about that much that came out. I then repeated it with my left ear because although I could hear out of it just fine, I wanted to give it a quick wash since I'm an avid earphone and headphone user. Not really much came out of my left ear, but it did feel cleaner! I'm so happy and so glad that I decided to look into the reviews before spending $150 for a 10 minute visit because this was $8 when I bought it. Both of my ears feel cleaner and can hear more. It almost feels like my hearing reaction time is faster than my eyes reaction time now. [6] PRE-Instructions: Some things to note when you're doing this is that after you finish the instructions, it's normal to feel a little light headed or off balance or dizzy. Lie down and rest a little. You are doing perfectly fine, don't panic, trust yourself and the other reviews, you'll be okay, promise. [7] I'll get into the instructions now. 1. Dry the outside of your ear a little bit, not inside the canal, with a tissue before anything else just in case you did something with water. ||| In my case it was the shower. 2. Tilt your head to the side and (optional: use your phone camera to see yourself) fill in your ear with the product's solution until it's about full or as much as you think you can fit in your ear. ||| I used what seemed like a lot. 3. Rest your body and head on a pillow sideways. Adjust your angle of your head while remaining sideways occasionally for comfortability and to allow the solution to move. ||| I didn't stick to singularly looking straight forward while sideways. 4. Do step 3 for 30 minutes MINIMUM. The solution needs time to work. This is OTC stuff, so have patience because it will pay off. ||| I went on my phone for this period of time, so it was fast. 5. After 30 minutes, get up, use a tissue or paper towel to drain out the carbamide peroxide if you have to walk a little bit, go to a sink or bath, then warm up some water, fill the bulb with WARM WATER all the way (bulb should come with product, squeeze really hard to fill up bulb), put the bulb tip in your ear as deep as you feel comfortable, and squirt it hard, fast, and intensely in your ear. ||| I put the bulb tip pretty deep as long as it didn't hurt. Think of the bulb like squirt gun. 6. Repeat squirting until all the wax comes out and you can hear again. ||| This took me 1-2 minutes of squirting. Some people said 10 minutes, some said 20 minutes, some said 1-5 minutes like me. [8] POST-Instructions: Congrats, you should now be able to hear properly now. You did well and should be free of the noise blockage in your ear canal. If you still have problems after all of this, you legitimately might have a larger concern in need of a doctor's visit. [9] TLDR: Accidentally oopsie and used a cotton swab, pushed wax in, freaked out for five days, eventually found out reviews had good instructions, I can hear now, yay!

Worked on one of us
It worked great on one of us. The first person who tried it, it bubbled properly and wax certainly came out. Even their hearing was better. My experience was certainly different. No bubbling at all and nothing came out. Now I feel like I still have liquid in my ear. Even 16 hours later. We used the same bottle and followed the same instructions. Not sure what happened.

This is an amazing product specially for kids. My Kid was having ear infection, listening low and having thick wax in both ears. We tried bebird or other toolkit earlier but finally this product helped like magic. This works exactly as instructed, cleaning with water at the 5th day you will realise how it dilute all hard wax and coming out from ears. Thanks for such a nice product.

This worked perfectly for me. I left in my ear for a longer time of 20 minutes and then washed out with the supplied bulb. All the built up wax was removed and my hearing was back to normal again, worked like a charm. Would recommend this
