My husband and I both had cataract surgeries and these ventilated patches were perfect. They let the air in yet protect the eye well and they are comfortable. They're far better than the solid kind and I'm glad we bought them.

I suffered a scratched cornea so I bought these to protect me from further damage while sleeping. The 3rd night of wearing it, I woke up to scratching of my eyelid. When I took off the eye protector I saw that it had broken and ended up with sharp edges. Luckily, it scratched my eyelid instead of my cornea again. I threw the rest of the pack of 4 in the garbage.

It keeps you from rubbing your eyes when asleep.

I purchased these for other than the eyes.. These work great for protection over a wound that has trouble healing one of these some gauze and tape perfect protection...Priceless...

I had eye surgery recently which required my wearing a ventilated shield over my right eye while I slept. I misplaced the original one and ordered these because the price was low and the one-day delivery was what I needed. I ended up being very disappointed in the quality, specifically the extremely sharp piece of plastic on one side of each of the four shields, apparently from the manufacturing process. I tried filing the sharp edge off but couldn’t get it smooth enough to trust it to not injure my eye, so I returned them.
