flimsy and small, but really nice accessories and extremely comfortable
I like this ("Camping Hammock - Portable Single Person Hammock") hammock but it took me a while. When I opened the hammock set, it felt light and fragile in comparison another hammock I have (the Holarun, see below) Carabiners on this one close with a metal loop that feels more like a key chain but so far it works fine.Accessories are excellent and high quality: I got some nice tree straps, gold aluminum stakes and a functional (but short) rain fly. Nice details like reflective stripes in the ropes.Smelled TERRIBLE, like a swimming pool. I aired it out for two weeks (I am unusually sensitive to smells and this one was apparently one no one else noticed, so... YMMV)Cannot yet speak to the longevity as I've only used it for a few days. This one is smaller and shorter both than my other hammock and I really would not like to put another person in it. I am tall and I though the size would feel confining but : it's very, very comfortable. Easier to hang because it's shorter. Size is actually an asset for me. Fits me and all my bedding, water bottle, etc.I am 5'8 and "normal" weight according to the CDC's fantasy metrics.I would not recommend this for taller people, and also it's got like a 400 lb weight limit. If you are tall, large or like to share, get the Holarun (linked below) which is prettier, larger, sturdier, more versatile (can be spread out) BUT has no rainfly or mosquito net and pls note that the rain fly of this one is TOO SHORT for the Holarun which makes for some drippy nights while I waited for this thing to destink. I was able to reduce the drips a lot by hanging my hammock correctly and here is how: TWO lines, one you hang your rain fly UNDER (not over) and then use your tree straps for the hammock (which needs to be smaller than your rain fly, this set just barely works) but if you are familiar with rain chains, be SURE to wrap your strap and leave it hanging down or your hammock will become a rain chain (especially when tied to a tree) and your back will be awash with icy water in the night. Ask me how I know!I was very attached to my heavy duty, beautiful and versatile $20 Holarun hammock (and I still like it better) but the Holarun lacks a rainfly and mosquito net. While I found that I can fold the Holarun to give me de facto mosquito protection, I was not able to rig a tarp to keep me dry (part of this was user error, as above) the Holarun, recommended for taller or larger people or multiples: Double Camping Hammock with 2 Tree Straps, Portable Lightweight Hammocks with Ultralight Nylon Parachute Two Person Hammock for Backpacking, Hiking GeHolarun$19.99https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B088D2TQXD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1NICE solid steel carabiners that lock and are sturdygenerously wide and long (10 Ft X 6.6 Ft. 2 )600 lbs weight capacity (!!!) you can fit multiple people and larger people, a dog, etc

Kept me dry during a downpour.
This hammock is very comfortable to sleep in, and on clear nights it is great to fall asleep looking at the stars. On nights when it is not clear, add the rainfly and sleep in totally dry comfort. I was not sure I would be able to sleep in a hammock, but my back and hips loved it. The only thing I would suggest is to bring a light blanket even on summer nights -- hammock sleeping is *very* cool sleeping!

Good buy.
This is great quality for then price.Nice tarp. The seams are solid and well sealed.Corners are reinforced adequately. Very happy about the quality of the tarp.Everything seems like quality control is high. The ridgeline is not structural, the organisor is nice, standard shock cord and mitten hooks.Lots of internal storage including the bug net pocket for overhead. The bugnet is ok, Zipper is well sewn and works smoothly. The bug net is not removable, The zipper ends and stash bag are lined up right and are strong so storage is good and you can get it out of your way. It's well up out of your way when it's closed. Very easy to get in and out of, opens and closes easily. The bugnet attachment ends are sewn up against the sewn gather with a nice close fit and small gap.You will want to retie the dragon tail knot on the gather. Use the same rope with no worries Replace it with a closed amsteel loop and add a structural ridgeline above the bugnet to create a gap for a pulled tight tarp and set your sag. That ten minutes will make you super happy and your life easier. Not necessary, but I really recommend it. It might make the difference between you being happy about it and really loving what you got for the very low price.MSR knock off aluminum stakes are a treat. Light, strong, hold well. The guy lines are reflective 550 decent length. The plastic tensioners will work when you put them on right. Meh.Same for the carbiners. Meh.Make some soft shackles with the leftover amsteel from the ridgeline and loops. The straps that come with this are nice enough. No worries about strength or stitching. Use the carbiners that came with this for the tree side. A ridgeline removes the need for super fine adjustment so loops are great.Really happy with the tarp.Underquilt not a pad for this. Can't go wrong using as is. Really great value for the price.Good starter for camping, everything needed, minus an under and top quilt.Easy to set up, attach the guy lines and you could go on a weekender. Change the suspension at the gather and go on a short through hike. For bike packing this is great. Size, weight, packability, add down quilts and you can pack your entire sleep system in a small tail bag with lots of room left.EditSpent some time in this. Nice small Hammock. Really happy with this kit for the price. Worth getting and using some amsteel on.Year end update. Still happy with what I got for the price. Used it myself a good few times and was my sons when he was camping this year.

Great for plus size.
This hammock really is amazing. I am a plus size person and had absolutely no issues with it. It exceeded every one of my expectations. And it comes with everything. Nothing left out.

Works well
works well so far. Mostly have used it in the back yard but it’s used fairly often between me and my kids. I put the rain fly only about a foot over it and it kept dry inside. Overall it was a good deal

Hammock is half sewn inside out
The tarp is seam taped and is nice, so are rest of accessories. The hammock itself, however, came with parts of it sewn inside out, or outside in. With bugnet and drip guards at the gather side up (correct and only way), the stuff pouch and tie-outs for guylines are sewn INSIDE the zipper line. Also the o-ring for non-structural ridgeline for inside the bugnet is sewn OUTSIDE on one end. I'm returning the set. If the replacement hammock is the same way, I'm leaving it at two stars (basically you are paying for tarp and accessories). If the replacement hammock is sewn correctly, I will bump it up to 3 stars for value.Edit: just got the replacement hammock, and it's sewn correctly (stuff sack and tie out tabs on the outside, both o-rings for bugnet ridgeline inside). However it's missing two zipper pull tabs. I've bumped it up to 3 stars, but QC seems non existent so if you get this set, check everything carefully.
