Used to replace failed GM 2016 and 2017 wheel nuts.
GM nuts failed to hold torque. McGard torque (tighten) better and are easier on the aluminum wheels. They are bulge formed and have about 50% more contact area with the wheel, lowering the stress on the wheel. The GM nuts have a stainless steel cap crimped on them. These caps tend to slip when torqueing, so the torque wrench "click" can feel weird. So cant tell if GM nut is failing or aluminum wheel is being crushed. Extra area and chromed finish (no slipping cap) give excellent torque feel.

Appear to be good value
It's early, but so far so good. They look great on the 17" stock rims of my 2013 Ram 1500. I was super excited to find these as the dealer option was $17 a piece! The dealer lugs are 7 years old, and have not rusted, but they have swollen to the point where I have to fight to get the socket on and off. So if the McGuard's hold up, a four pack of these represent a great value.

Proper Design
Modern OEM designs are very poor. Manufacturers place plastic over steel nuts. The problem is that water gets underneath the plastic and it swell the nut. McGard solves this issue. Great design, great quality. Importantly, McGard is made in USA 🇺🇸 Please shop domestic

quality is excellent
I bought these Mcgard lug nuts to replace the capped factory nuts on my 2016 ram 1500.they arrived in the specified time and are exactly what I had hoped for.the fit and quality is just great. also they look super nice on the factory wheels.can't say what the durability is as I've only had them on for about 6 weeks but I think they will be awesome

No impact tools!!
Soft chrome coating, do not use impact sockets. Hand tighten only, very easily damaged. Yes, I know how to tighten lugs properly.
