Pleasingly surprised at how easy the ink flows through these pens. A great addition to my pen and ink art supplies!

I have an expensive glass pen made in Murano, Italy. These pens aren't as beautiful, but they are very pretty, write just as well and cost much less. They are very easy to use and clean and hold quite a bit of ink so you aren't constantly dipping the pen as you are trying to finish a sentence. They are well made and sturdy for glass pens. They arrived packaged in bubble wrap in a plain white box. Each pen had a rubbery plastic sleeve that covered the nib end to protect it from damage during transit. Would buy this again and wouldn't hesitate to give them as a gift.Update: It's been about 4 months since I've received these pens. I use them in rotation about 5 times a week. One pen splintered at the tip rather unexpectedly and had to be thrown away. I didn't drop it or handle it roughly. Not complaining as I think I got my money's worth for as much as it got used. Just reporting back for anyone interested in this sort of information.

They are very pretty and fairly accurate to the description keeping in mind that they are handmade and therefore will have minor differences from what is shown. They write pretty well but as all depends they do indeed have a sweet spot. Overall a good purchase for the money. Be careful when you open the package because while they did have a protective sleeve over the tip and were wrapped in bubble wrap I nearly dropped some when I took them out of the box. They were not secured within the bubble wrap, just set inside a fold of it.

These pens fulfilled my desire to write with a glass pen. I don’t think I would purchase again.

Who would think that a glass dip pen could provide this much pleasure?The secret lies within the spirals that hold impressive amounts of ink. I have written 10 line paragraphs without having to re-dip, and I do not write minisculely. They do not scratch, they write smoothly and perfectly without any ink blobs if loaded properly.Being glass, of course they are fragile,.so don't let them roll off the table. But if they break, they are inexpensive enough to replace.They are little works of art, very pretty to look at. And best of all, they work flawlwssly with India ink which comes in a host of colors and can also be mixed to create your own custom colors for drawing and painting even the tiniest details. They wash out easily, and a soft toothbrush will get any dried on ink off without any problem.Have fun with them!

I purchased these glass dip pens to test fountain pen inks and create ink swab cards.I picked this set as I had read on some other glass dip pen reviews that the pens broke in shipping or that the tips broke shortly after receiving the pens. So this set seemed a good choice, with three pens, one of them would have to arrive ok.They arrived well wrapped with no defects. They are quite beautiful and well made. The design is also great as there are multiple points/shapes to anchor on when writing. And they feel great in the hand. They're also easy to clean, just use water and a paper towel, just be careful not to clean like the Hulk as they are glass.I would definitely recommend these pens due to their price point, quality, asthestics and how they feel in the hand.

The glass nib pens are great additions to my art supplies. They are lovely looking, hold a generous amount of ink per dip, write smoothly and I can get various line widths, although they are not as flexible in this aspect as my nib pens. Three at such a great price is a big bonus. They are smooth, cool to the touch and a pleasure to hold. The slight turned ribs along the shaft keep your grip smooth. They clean immaculately with water and rag, although a little alcohol may be needed after a long session. I really do love these pens.
