Good nutrition
At first I found the flavor a little funny, and maybe still do. Yet I find myself craving it periodically and the nutritional content and satiation are great.

Delicious base soup
Love the macros on this. I always add my own flavorings to it otherwise it’s too bland and it’s delicious when you dress it up.

Good soup, but cans arrived dented!
I've been eating this soup for years. It's a perfect quick lunch. It's unavailable in my local markets for some reason so I looked here. Unfortunately 4 cans were dented even though they were shrink-wrapped in the flat, open box.

Yummy
Great soup. I love the protein. I like to add in a hearty amount of sliced rotisserie chicken for additional protein and flavor.

Great soup with plenty of chicken and no yeast extract
This is one of the very few commercially made soups that has no yeast extract, to which I have a food sensitivity. I also appreciate that they don't load it up with oodles of garlic and onion--just a touch is all that is needed, and this soup is just right.

Why is it not labeled as Spicy?!
Nowhere on the can did this lentil vegetable soup say that it was spicy. I can handle some spice, but I bought this for a recipe and there shouldn't be any heat to a lentil vegetable soup. If there is, it should be clearly labeled as spicy. Now I can't even use it for what I wanted and it's too spicy for a regular meal. I make a New Year's Soup every year featuring all the "lucky" foods and lentils are one of them. It has plenty of spice by itself. No returns on food though, which I understand. But come on! Nobody buys lentil soup or vegetable soup for that matter expecting it to be spicy unless it is advertised as such. Label your product properly, please, so that someone else doesn't make the same mistake. Two stars for quality. You can tell it is well packaged and the ingredients are fresh. But taste and consistency wise, even by itself, I don't recommend it at all, so can't give it any more than two. There's just a lack of any availability of lentil soup in general or on Amazon.

Disappointed
I was looking for something low sodium. I looked up the specs on this and I'll take some responsibility for misreading the facts. When I looked up the label it said "serving size one can" and then I saw 480 mg of sodium. I thought that was great. But that was only for 8 oz of the 15 oz can. There was a second part of the label which when listing the amounts for the whole can nearly doubled the ingredients. It turned out there's over 800 mg of sodium in one can. The taste? Needs salt. But I can't add any because the amount of sodium already present in one can is way too much. It's a perfect example where the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Unsure if I'm going to keep the other 11 cans but if you're looking to give up great taste OR high sodium but not both, then this is not your answer. You give up great taste and still get loaded up with sodium.
