Herbishh Grape Red Hair Dye Shampoo for Gray Hair Coverage 500ml

I love this stuff! I only have some grey around my sideburns and hairline. Only really noticeable if I pull my hair back, which I do for work. Coloring at home was ruining my hair and it didn’t last. I was going to the salon which lasted longer but so expensive. I started out using this to extend the time between color. I have just completely switched to using this. I have medium brown hair so this light brown ended up giving me a warm color which I am fine with. I wash my hair every other day with an all natural shampoo and this lasts about 2 weeks. I have been just rinsing and reusing the gloves they sent. And don’t skip the hair mask sample they send. It smells great and makes my hair soft and shiny. I ended up ordering a full size of the mask because I love it so much. I’m sure I’ll have to change strategy when I get more all over grey but for now this is working great. I’ve used it 3-4 times and there is still product in the bottle. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I just had to for this product. Oh and make sure you wipe any that gets on your face/skin. It can stain a little and you end up having to scrub to get it off.

I give it 5 stars because it works really well, but for me this is not really like a shampoo. It feels more like a strong hair dye. The color came out much darker than I expected, so just keep this in mind. The instruction says not to wash your hair with shampoo after, but personally I recommend to wash it with your regular shampoo. Then use the mask that comes with it or your own conditioner. Alse very important, put some cream or vaseline around your hairline and on the skin before you use it. It stains the skin a lot and can be really hard to wash off after. Overall it works good, just be careful with the color because it comes out pretty dark.

I really liked this hair dye shampoo. It was easy to use, covered my gray hair very well, and left my hair looking shiny and healthy. The color turned out great and I’m very happy with the results. I would definitely buy it again!

I like this product a lot. I use the purple on dark brown hair. It doesn’t fully cover my sparse grays, but it makes them less noticeable. My hair feels very dry after washing the product out so the conditioning mask is a must for me. It feels similar to way clarifying shampoo makes my hair. My hair still feels healthy after the deep conditioning. The color shows up best in the sun and it fades pretty quickly. That said, I definitely think this has lightened my hair over time. I know it says it doesn’t have lightening agents. I plugged the ingredients into ChatGPT and it also said there were none - but I absolutely think it’s made my hair lighter. I’ve had multiple people ask if I’ve lightened my hair so it’s not just me! Maybe it’s doing something to my hair chemistry, maybe it’s reacting with the sun 🤷‍♀️ I like the effect, but I that’s not what you want, be careful. First two pics are shortly after applying the product. The last two are my color before I used it, and after it has washed out to show the lightening.

Let me preface this by saying that I have been coloring and highlighting my hair at home for years. My gray grows in about every 2 weeks and the time it takes to color my hair, not to mention the damage that has become the norm for me, has had me searching for a better and easier solution for quite some time. When I saw this product and read the reviews, I really thought it might be the solution I was looking for. My hair is a dark ash blonde, so I chose the the linen product. I'll admit I was very nervous about trying it but I was hopeful. I finally tried it four days ago. As much as I wanted to love it, it didn't measure up like I had hoped. First off, people say it's not messy but I found it to be very messy. It's not a thick gel like consistency but is more runny, and it seemed to run out of my hand when I pumped the bottle. It looked VERY orange when I put it on my hair, which was quite concerning, because I naturally have a lot of red undertones and I was afraid of what might be to come if it picked up on those undertones. Many reviews said it was so easy to use, but it really wasn't to me. It doesn't lather like normal shampoo. I found it very difficult to get it everywhere on my scalp that might be sprouting grays. It didn't seem to cover very well. It did irritate my skin just a little bit as it sat, but not as much as box dye. I applied it to my roots the best I could and tried to pull it through the ends of my hair but it seemed to be absorbing very unevenly which made it difficult to evenly coat my hair. The bottle says to let it sit or 10-15 minutes but 25 minutes for stubborn grays, so that's what I did. I rinsed it out in the shower and used the conditioner that came with it. When I got out of the shower, I could immediately tell, even though my hair was wet, that it was too dark. As I blew dry my hair, it became more and more apparent that not only was the color much darker than I was hoping, but that it covered very unevenly and was very flat and dull looking. My hair didn't have any natural highlights or undertones. It was almost black. It stained my skin on my forehead and ears very badly. Much more so than box dye. Four days later and the skin on my forehead is still stained. I ended up having to pull my hair through a cap at home and try to highlight it to bring it back to my natural color as much as possible, but it is still much too dark due to the base tone from this product. It might work okay if you have minimal grays throughout your head or if you are used to a one tone hair color. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't the miracle solution I was hoping for.

I was really pleased with this! It was not dark when I was putting it in my hair, and honestly did not expect much, but it worked really well. The smell was a little funky, but a lot less gross than box dye for sure. This is a great option to cover up those grey hairs without the hard stark contrast of box dye.

This hair color product is so much easier than the usual coloring method,you pump it into a bowl,and with gloved hands rub it into your hair like a shampoo,it doesn't matter if you you leave it in longer, because it doesn't get too dark,I use light brown. It lasts about 6 weeks, the smell isn't great as the others aren't either. I also love the hair conditioner,wish they sell it separately.i use it now for about 3 years, it leaves the hair really shiny, probably because of the avocado conditioner.

The product works, but for me 3-4 weeks. Also, for it being large im surprised it didnt come with more conditioner or gloves. It's not a one time use bottle. 3 stars because of that and its just like coloring your hair. I was hoping for something else. Yes, it does have a smell.

I always wanted to dye my hair purple without bleach, and had tried different hair color that didn't work, so I thought maybe this one works, specially after when I saw the bright vibrant purple color that it had, I got my hopes up. At the end every where got the color, bath tub and upper tiles around the shower but my hair! Not even my white hair! No shade a purple, as if I only washed my hair with a regular shampoo! So do not bother buying this if you hope to get a purple hair or you'll get disappointed like me!!

Excellent alternative to expensive salons. I bought this with some hesitation but it’s been the best option of all that I tried - salons, box dyes and hair colours. It’s super easy to use and my Hair took the colour within 15 mins.
