Head strap broke after trying it on. Thankfully I can sew and fix it, but a little disappointed since I only wore it once to try it on and it broke.

I like most of this hat, but after wearing it only a couple of times, the chin strap broke. The brim is very tight on my head.

It's simply too small. I do not have a giant head. This is even small for an average size head. I tried to wear it anyways and have a giant headache. It is great quality material and looked as if it would've been my favorite hat ever. I am sad that it is so small.

The hat was folded nearly in half in its package - resulting in the brim being bent and ruining the fit. It also has a very sharp/jagged Styrofoam edge at the forehead brim which scratches my head. I also don't find that the brim is big enough to keep the sun off my face.

Poor quality of details: the strings that help keeping the hat in place got detached from the hat on the second day of use. And I don't mean untie (that's a whole different story—get ready to tying & re-tying them back all the time), I mean the little loops that were sawed in into the hat got torn off. Permanently.

I like this sun hat. It's lightweight and comfortable for me, but it does seem a bit on the small side as far as the head circumfrence. I received the SummerBliz Sun Hat at no cost in order to review and it has come in pretty handy during the blistering hot, super bright, sunny days we have been having. I have what I would consider an average sized head (about 21 inches around), but if my head were any bigger, this hat would be uncomfortable. My husband wore it one day when he had to be outside doing an installation and he was able to wear it for a little bit, but it was too tight and after awhile it was just too uncomfortable so he had to take it off. I generally wear it with the band at the largest to prevent my head feeling constricted.The hat brim measures about 3 1/4 inches at the front and about 4 1/4 inches at the back, giving it an elongated shape that helps give some protection to your neck. The top is about 3 3/4 inches from where it is sewn to the brim to the top seam. The head hole is about 21 inches circumference. It has a sliding clamp to adjust the band if you should need it tighter. There is also an adjustable strap/string that can go under your chin.The quality of the hat is good and it seems well constructed. I haven't had any problems with it and nothing has come unstitched or broken. It comfortable and great for when I'm out working in the yard or garden. As I said, I would recommend measuring first to avoid being disappointed if it is too small. It is a decent hat and it would be great if it could be offered in a larger size. My husband liked it for the little while that he wore it, and he would gladly buy another if a larger size were available.
