No instructions
I was super excited to get this machine for my birthday 1st This machine does not come with any assembly instructions, it tells you how to make buttons but not how to put it together. I can tell by the pictures that the height needs to be adjusted it’s about half an inch too low and I have tried everything to get to move with no luck so my husband had to cut part of the metal rod that goes into the mold off so I could use it. I would be sending it back if not for my husband being able to cut the rod so I could use it

what a mess
this item was a mess. The outer box looked fine. but the inner box had three large holes gouged into it by the heavy press bouncing around inside. The inner packages were broken open, button blanks damaged and tossed everywhere and mixed in together. no instructions for assembly. And, much like another commenter, unable to adjust the height - it is frozen in place. I will be hitting the tools in the garage to see if I can get it to budge. I am not even to the point of trying to make buttons! Having spent a little more time with it, finding that the size 30 die doesn't fit together, some kind of defect prevent the top and bottom from sliding together.

It's a pain updated review..
At first I only gave this product 3 stars because of the lack of instruction on how to use this product. After the company contacted me vie email with the following information....."the thimble of this product can be adjusted, as shown in the picture" Knowing this I changed my score to 4 stars because now it works as it should with the larger dies and the fact that the company has enough confidence in their product to reach out to me. I do still suggest that they make this change and add to their written instruction (which was not included in my shipment) about making some adjustments with the thimble to make the larger dies fit.The buttons come out great.

Works well for upholstery
Works well after making intial adjustments. I suggest you bolt down to work bench to stabilize base.
