Each stamper already had the silicone top inserted into the tube ready to use and the 6 replacement stampers were in a separately packaged bag for future uses. I learned the hard way just how fragile the stamper can be, so I got this pack to have lots of backups. I like how the scraper is plastic and will not damage my stencil plates, as opposed to metal scrapers. I also like how there are two different stamper heads in one stamp.Before I tested everything out on my own nails, I did some research to learn more about the process and care for the tools. Nail art supplies can get pretty expensive, so you want to make sure to take proper care of each item to ensure it lasts a while! One major important thing I learned through researching is the importance of NOT using any acetone or alcohol liquid on your stamper… It will damage the material and not work properly or last long. Instead, you can clean the stamper off with tape, lint roller, or paper towel. The silicone stamper is fairly fragile, so always keep the top on for maximum protection.At first, I had to practice and get used to the rolling method of picking up the design from a stencil, as well as rolling the image onto the nail. I practiced with first just a paper towel to gain some muscle memory to perfect the transfer. If you are new to nail art stamping, I suggest practicing with supplies you are not worried about “wasting” while learning.
