This book is great full of really useful information its not just about building furniture, it covers tree types wood types when to harvest your wood and so much more if your even considering building rustic furniture I highly recommend this book.

This book is perfect if you wish to learn to make your own log furniture or if you just want to learn how about how it’s done. There are lots of great tips and tricks from selecting wood to prepping it to working with it.Being an novice woodworker my skills have a lot to be desired for making good looking furniture but with what I see in this book I can make pieces that will at least be functional with a rustic look. A rustic look can be nice in the right setting.I can also use the info in this book for making gifts for friends and relatives. Who doesn’t need a foot stool or a really cool coat rack. While I learn on those I can build my skill set for making other things.
