Today is Mardi Gras! How fun that I was able to give my students beads to celebrate with them!

When I received the beads I noticed a very strong odor to them. It was very over-powering. I figured it was a factory smell that had gotten worse when they were packed. I tried rinsing all the beads and placing them out on the sun but that didn't work. I tried washing them with dish soap and soaking them but that didn't work either. In the end I barely used them because I was too embarrased to give them to anyone!! I don't recommend anyone get these unless you like strong chemical odors.
