I just finished using this setup to remove a lot a mold during my house reno. It worked great. You just have to make sure you fit the mask appropriately so air doesnt escape vertically up along your nose and into the mask. As long as I did that, I never got condensation inside the glasses. I continue to use this setup for cutting cement board and love it. One more tip, depending how long your job is, you might want to buy an additional set of filters for your 6297. I've used my filters for about 16 hours of active work and they are still ok so far, but it may depend how contaminated your environment is. You'll know if they need to be changed if you can't easily breathe through them or if you can start smelling things through them. **Q: Can you wear eyeglasses under these?** A: Mine fit fine, smaller oval lenses and fairly narrow frames. I think some medium lenses would work but larger or aviator shapes, nope...and they shouldn't be much wider than your head or jut forward much at all. Some lenses with a lower edge may still fit if you put them in the goggle first and then don both together (hassle, but it works). I'm able to put on and remove the goggles without having to do that. **Q: Would these be good to prevent acid vapor (formic acid) from reaching the eyes? They're non-vented, so perhaps yes?** A: I can chime in in regards to smoke. I know they do a fantastic job of keeping smoke out of my eyes when burning large piles of brush. So good I sometimes get too close to the fire where smoke would of chased me out before. Perhaps they would provide the same protection for you. **Q: Are these good for skiing or biking in the winter?** A: They work well for both. Cons: - Not easy to use with OTG. Press my glasses against my nose. Very uncomfortable. - Small nose will leave gap - Cushion on the nose area stick out. Able to stick dust after use. Poor QC. See photo. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great COVID-19 goggles. Here's a hack for reading glasses wearers... *by B***E on 2 August 2020* First the goggles, and then my hack: GOGGLES: As described by another reviewer, these goggles have slots for the temples of eyeglasses, so they are not 100% tight. However, that was very easy to remedy with a little piece of foam weather stripping. The goggles are a pretty good fit to my face, which is pretty average for European ancestry. Flatter and broader noses probably wouldn't fit well, and there is not a lot of forgiveness (cushion) in the fit. The lenses DO NOT FOG, even if you try to fog them directly with your breath. They are very clear and of good optical quality. They are reasonably comfortable and easy to put on. They may not fit well with all masks, but there is generally pretty good space over the nose. Furthermore, the nose area of the goggles can hold down the edge of most masks. MY HACK (see photos): I cannot read without my reading glasses, and this pandemic is driving me nuts. When I put on my specs, I have to take off my goggles. And I'm worried I might infect myself by transferring germs to my eyes. No longer! These goggles seem to have an attachment area for some accessory around the nose, and I used it for attaching reading specs. I cut a notch in the rubber and zip-tied a pair of Noble brand flat reading specs to the mask. The specs can flip up or down. In the down position, I get a tiny "bifocal" area down low, which works for most purposes. In the up position, the specs are in the center of my visual field - suitable for reading a computer screen. I had to make one tiny modification to the specs: The bridge is a plastic "spring" that grips the nose. I had to heat the bridge very carefully to soften the plastic, so that I could re-form it with the lenses in a more "flat" orientation. Overall, I'm very pleased with the goggles and am giddy that I now have specs I can use without doffing my PPE and risking contamination! :-D ## Frequently Bought Together - Sellstrom Odyssey II Wildland Fire Safety Goggles - Anti-Fog, Anti-Scratch Eye Protection Goggles for Men & Women - FR Strap, fits over Glasses, ANSI Z87.1 - 3M N95 Respirator 8511, Cool Flow Valve, 10 Pack, NIOSH-APPROVED, Advanced Filter Media For Easy Breathing, Comfortable For Long Periods Of Wear, Helps Filter Pollen, Mold Spores & Dust (8511PB1-A-PS) - NoCry Safety Face Shield Mask for Work with Premium Anti Fog and Anti Scratch Technology — Durable ANSI Z87.1 Certified Grinding Face Shield with Extreme Impact Resistance --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/267456520-sellstrom-safety-goggles-wildland-fire-otg-eye-protection-s80225-anti](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/267456520-sellstrom-safety-goggles-wildland-fire-otg-eye-protection-s80225-anti) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
