One of China's most famous green teas, our Dragon Well is picked in early spring and pan-fired for a sweet, roasted chestnut flavour, with the complexity and refreshing quality for which this tea has become iconic.

Review: A very good Sencha with greater aroma and no aftertaste - This is a very nice Sencha tea. It comes wrapped in a sealed foil package inside a metal tea tin. The lid fits very tightly onto the base of this tea tin, helping to preserve the aroma and freshness of the tea. If tea is not sealed well in an airtight container, it will lose much of these properties quickly. It has a mild, but rich aroma with no aftertaste and certainly no bitterness. It seems to have a mild sweetness of its own. I do like a sweeter tea, and place honey in mine. It makes a very good drink in the morning or throughout the day. Green tea does contain some caffeine, however, usually only about 1/3 of a cup of coffee. Caffeine does not bother me at night and I do drink it into the late evening. If you’re looking for a good Sencha tea, I do recommend this one.

You MUST blanch the tea for 5 seconds and discard the liquid, otherwise, it is bitter as all get out. But they tell you this. The foil packing and clip are a very nice bonus!

This may not be the absolute best top of the line LongJing but for somebody who drinks a lot of tea and can't afford designer tea and probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyway, this is very fine and serves my purposes perfectly.
