So get your vanilla beans an alcohol an try your hand at making your home made vanilla extract . 10 to 15 vanilla beans split in half to a small bottle of alcohol , vodka, clear coconut rum, Bourbon.

Making flavoring, you put 1 ounce of beans to 8 ounces of alcohol (I used vodka). This package of beans weighed 5 ounces, which gave me enough for 5 bottles of flavoring.
