It’s a common key so be careful where you lock it up. I’ve had the same key in quite a few locks and there isn’t anything unique about it.The lock itself is good. It locks the back brake disk so the rear wheel won’t move. Along with the cable it holds my scooter ok but I wouldn’t trust it.The cable can be easily cut and it doesn’t keep your scooter in place, people can still move it or attempt to pull it away.I recommend using the lock but buying a solid metal loop that fits in the lock as well as a durable code lock as well to go though it. It should stop people from cutting through. This doesn’t stop them from taking the scooter still if they have the right key. The extra lock is just to stop it from being cut away

Amazing small kits, it does the job. Secured my scooter when I'm out shopping, library and parks. Key is great and the spare also helps.

I bought up a ton of accessories for my new e scooter of recent and this was the plan for locking it while I popped in shops and being away from it generally 2 to 5 mins at a time. Unfortunately I have a Pure E scooter and they don't have exposed brakes. So no disc brake for me to attach this to.The concept is great but just make sure it will be suitable for your scooter.
